The ambiance of the condo was perfect. From the views to the staff, we were so happy at our stay. It wasn't so close by the tourist area but it was close enough to drive to. The hosts could've communicated better prior to our stay and left more supplies such as towels and paper towels. We felt a little under-equipped. The cleanliness wasn't 100% and could've used more deep cleaning. Other than those, our stay was beautiful and dreamy.

Great view but austere unit

The ocean view from the property is gorgeous! The apartment was very spacious for a couple with no kids, and the infinity rooftop was a nice amenity.The condo was very clean (except the area rug which smelled), and the decor was austere and plain making the place look like a tidy bachelors' pad, cold and boring. The patio furniture consists of only a small table and two upright chairs making it hard to sit on the patio comfortably and enjoy the view in the mornings and in the evenings.We were also disappointed that basic items such as dish soap, dish sponge, and a dish towel were not provided for the guests to use in the kitchen. The unit comes equipped with a washer and dryer and a dishwasher, but no detergent. We ended up purchasing these basic items on our own. But what is most disconcerting is that the lobby displays a thorough list of these available for sale, but we were told that they were out of stock. The unit does come with toilet paper though. I did email Vacasa property during my stay about the lack of dish sponge and dish soap, but they did not do anything. We have rented other properties throughout the Puerto Vallarta area and this is probably the most plain and unwelcome condo we’ve stayed in.The front desk is generally friendly.

Sunsets don't get any better

If you are looking to spend your vacation time south of Puerto Vallarta and you want a killer view, amazing pools, and sunsets every night. You will LOVE this place. It's well appointed and very new. Parking is out in front of the condominium complex. We were lucky to get a spot every night because the place was low capacity. If you are going during a peak season, I would check with staff about parking. The kitchen had a lot of equipment but lacked ice maker, potable water, coffee/tea starter setup, and salt and pepper. The pictures are accurate. Sorry, no beach equipment available.

Stunning views

I loved the peace and quiet of this condominium. The apartment was very neat and tidy and the service excellent. I managed to have a great time even though it is far away from the center of PV. The pools and especially the rooftop offer spectacular views. I will definitely return

Love the place. Out of the way so by groceries before. Great little restaurant 1/2 km west called Caracol.

Clean property. Nice large patio, big showers with an ocean view. Now for the bad: The furniture was extremely uncomfortable, no dish washer detergent, no cupboards for food, no wash clothes, no dish towels or hot pads. No lighting over the sink and only 1 outlet in kichen. We had to plug in the coffee pot in the extra bathroom.

Know the shortcomings before you go.

The proximity and the view of the ocean is fantastic. The rooftop pool area is incredible. If you ignore the minor irritants and enjoy the grandeur of the surroundings you will really enjoy your time here.

Escape the noise and enjoy the perfect views

It's so quiet and the views are just amazing. The staff is very helpful and it's a nice get away from the noise of downtown PV. Definitely plan to cook for yourself or hope you get lucky and can get an Uber/Taxi to a nearby restaurant or make the drive into downtown.

Amazing views

Overall I give it five stars. You absolutely will not beat the breathtaking views from this property. Like stated in previous reviews( so glad we read them) you have little access to food, or any type of stores. Uber really doesn’t like to drive out to the property so taxi is about the only way to go. We knew about this ahead of time so we grocery shopped in the romantic zone before heading to the property. The staff on sight are absolutely amazing and beyond helpful. If you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing vacation this is the place to go, you’ll just be cooking for yourself. I can guarantee though you won’t find a better sunset view. It is a little more difficult to talk to someone (vicassa the rental agency who listed property) about what exactly is in the condo before you go. But as stated earlier the blue horizon staff is incredible. One of a kind and so glad we booked this place for three of our nine nights in puerto Vallarta.

Beautiful property

Wish i could give 5 stars across the board because staff was amazing!! But, the property is brand new and still working out some bugs. Just little things....no hangers in closet, no soap for dishwasher, no paper towels...so i guess i am saying, bring everything you need, closest store or restaurant is a cab or buss ride away. We will definitely stay again, now we know what to expect...as for amenities, don't expect anything but very basics. Again, loved the staff and the dog Oso, a very beautiful place. Enjoy!
