There were highs and lows about this house. The good: it’s in a great location. 15 minutes from Reagan Airport, Union Station, plenty of resturant’s, Pentagon Mall, and there’s a park directly across the street. The house is very spacious and well decorated. And the host was kind enough to decorate for the Christmas holidays which made our stay more festive. The bad: The house has a rodent issue. We saw mice the first night and there were mice droppings in the corners of the living room sofa. When we contacted the host, they were very apologetic and responsive and sent an exterminator out the next day but it was difficult to really relax after that experience. Overall, the house is better suited for the summer as far as amenities. The work out and game room in the garage is a nice touch but it was too cold to really enjoy in December and the heater out there is insufficient for the space. The house has 6 bedrooms rooms but many ofthe mattresses need to be replaced. And the shower in main bath upstairs only got lukewarm.Overall, the house has great potential to be awesome but it fell short for us.

I could have given a 10/10 the moment I first inquired about my 14 y/o daughter’s bday slumber party. not an easy ask lol but the hosts were beyond accommodating and kind! The girls absolutely loved playing in the game room in the basement & they took over the bedrooms upstairs (each spacious bedroom has a tv!) and felt like rockstars. There was plenty of space, photos are 1000% accurate, location is perfect. we didn’t want to leave ;)highly recommend the stay & we will for sure return in the warmer months to take advantage of the pool!! Gorgeous property. Book it & you won’t regret it!

The pool area is great! It was chilly so we didn’t use the pool as much as anticipated but it was a lovely visual from inside the house.The kitchen was great and living areas of the house were comfortable for gathering. Having split bedroom areas was an added benefit.

What a beautiful house! It was the perfect place to stay and the whole family was able to be together while we laid my father to rest at Arlington. The pool and game room were an awesome way for the youngest adults to spend time together.

The property overall was nice and worked well for our family of 8. There were some minor maintenance issues that we noted. Front door handle and sliding door handle to the backyard were very loose. Also, the stair railings could use tightening. The property was clean except for the main floor bathroom and the counter next to the coffee maker. Property was well stocked with kitchen utensils, dish and dishwasher soap, toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo/conditioner and laundry soap. There were also various pool floats that could be used and we used a cooler one of the days that we had a picnic. We also had bit of an issue at check in where we weren't able to get the access code right away even though we were there about 2 hours after checkin time. The host had a family emergency and was understandably not thinking about access codes. It would be nice if there was some mechanism whereby VRBO could automatically send the access codes at checkin. This would have prevented some undue stress on our side. Still, we had a great time and the property is in a nice location where it was pretty easy to get into DC using the metro system which was about a 10-15 minute drive. The kids loved the pool and the game room.

Family vacay

The home was an excellent choice for me and extended family - 6 adults and 5 kids. It was in a great location to visit nearby relatives and the sites in D. C. We had plenty of space to relax and the game room and pool were a big hit with the kids. We had a great stay.

Fantastic Family Stay - Highly Recommend!

We had a truly wonderful experience staying at this property with our family group of 6 adults, 1 youth, 1 child, and 1 infant. The home was exactly as described— very clean, spacious, and thoughtfully set up to accommodate all of us comfortably.The hosts were outstanding—friendly, responsive, and incredibly accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed, and their communication throughout our stay was excellent. Check-in/out was very convenient and easy. The location was perfect for us—just a short walk to bus stops, which made getting around easy. Whether we were heading into Washington DC or exploring nearby attractions, transportation was convenient.The pool was perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. We loved how well it was maintained and enjoyed many peaceful hours there. The game room was also a big hit with our group! It added a fun and lively touch to our evenings. This home was the perfect base for our family getaway—clean, convenient, and full of thoughtful amenities. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone traveling with a group or family. You won’t be disappointed!

Yet another fabulous stay ! Thank you! We had some basic issues (pool pump, no hot water) but they were dealt with quickly and efficiently. Better than expected!

We had an amazing stay at this Arlington property! The home was spotless, and had everything we needed for a comfortable weekend. The location was perfect—close to great restaurants, shopping, and local attractions, yet in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The host was incredibly responsive and made check-in and check-out a breeze. We especially loved the pool and backyard area and all the thoughtful touches throughout the home. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to stay in the area.

Really enjoyed the stay. Worked well for our retreat, the communal spaces were used, loved the game room. Kitchen was great for cooking meals. A bit sad the pool wasn’t open. And we had to borrow a can opener from the neighbor. Otherwise beds were comfy, we appreciated the laundry facilities, and the outdoor spaces were great too!

The house was clean, spacious, well appointed and Rodrigo was very accommodating and prompt with his responses. Had a wonderful girl’s weekend and the house was situated very close to where we wanted to explore -DC and Alexandria. Super cute neighborhood too. Highly recommend!

Perfect for large group

I stayed here for a long weekend with friends for the People's March in DC. The house is clean, updated, comfortable and with plenty of beds. It was within walking distance of a grocery store and some good restaurants. Highly recommend
