Welcome to your zen! This peaceful and beautifully-remodeled (in 2021) home in gorgeous Palm Springs highlights the best of desert living.
The space
Enjoy the oasis-like backyard with west-facing views as you catch some rays poolside under the outdoor misters. In the evening, gaze up at the twinkling stars while taking a delicious dip in the hot tub. The kitchen, dining room, living room, and primary bedroom all open up to an utterly refined pool/spa/entertainment space (including an outdoor built-in barbecue and shower), erasing the boundaries between indoor and outdoor. On one side of the home, squeeze in a game of bocce ball; on the other side of the home, pick some grapefruit, lemons, or limes from the “cocktail” trees.

The bedrooms:
The primary bedroom has 1 king bed with an en suite bathroom; the other two bedrooms each have a queen bed. One of the guest bedrooms also has a larger-than-twin-size futon couch. All bedrooms have fans and pull-down shades.
Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire property, with the exception of a couple of closets/cabinets, which we reserve for maintenance and storage supplies. There is plenty of clothing storage.
Other things to note
We are currently scheduling 48 hours between rentals because of COVID. Please reach out with any questions regarding our thorough cleaning process.

**Please note that THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOUSE.** Outdoor music is strictly prohibited. Music that is played indoors must not be heard outdoors. City ordinance states that any music that is audible from the property line is a violation. People noise during the day is permissible but must be measured and reasonable. Daytime is considered 10am to 10pm.

PRICING:

Price varies depending on demand. Higher rates occur for holidays and special events like Coachella.

There is an optional fee to heat the pool/spa at this home. The request to heat the pool/spa should be done at least 48 hours prior to your arrival. Please send us a message to arrange payment for heat. The cost will be $70/day.

There is a cleaning fee of $275 per reservation. Guests also have the option to have our cleaning team come in mid-stay at their convenience to do a mid-week cleaning. We'll do our best to schedule it around our guests while they are out for the day. Typically, we need about 4 hours for a full turnover. (This would be a great time to explore Joshua Tree!)

There is a $1000 refundable security deposit that is handled by Airbnb.

All vacation rentals 28 days or less pay a city of Palm Springs Transient Occupancy tax (11.5%) and Tourism Business Improvement District Tax (1%); this tax should be captured in the initial booking. If for some reason you are not charged this tax, it will be requested and collected prior to your stay.

LATE CHECK-OUT: We are extremely happy to try to offer a late check-out at no additional cost if our schedule permits (for example, if we don't have back-to-back bookings and can get the house cleaned in time). Please inquire in advance about late check-out and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

KID-FRIENDLY: We can host up to 2 additional small children in addition to 6 adults/children, bringing the total to 8 people for families with little ones. Our home can accommodate young children and is equipped with a pack n play crib, high chair, toys, books, and pool toys. All beds have a waterproof mattress and pillow covers. *Please note: There is currently NO fence surrounding the pool & spa.

SAFETY: Smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors. Fire extinguisher. First aid kit.

SECURITY CAMERAS: For security and insurance purposes, we have installed a security camera monitoring the entry doors in front of the home. The cameras do not monitor the interior or outdoor living areas.

LIABILITY WAIVER - By making your reservation you and the other members in your party as THE GUESTS agree to release THE HOSTS from all liability, including financial responsibility relating to injuries & personal property damage that may occur during your stay. You understand that using the hot tub and pool is at your own risk and that special risks may be involved with using the hot tub and pool. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising while on the property and hold owners harmless.
