This newly renovated home is just 2 blocks from the beach and a two-minute drive to Indiana Dune National Park at West Beach.
The home’s main level features a large living room and dining area,full bathroom, 2 bedrooms, modern eat-in kitchen, large patio for outdoor entertaining, gas grill and propane fire pit.
The fully finished basement has two bedrooms, a full bathroom, laundry room and rec room with a full-sized ping pong table and smart TV

* Beach mats and beach towels are provided. Please do not take the bath towels, sheets or blankets to the beach.

* Please clean the grill, turn off propane and cover after cooking. It doesn’t have to be spotless, at least get the chunks of food off.

* Be tidy and respectful of the property, surroundings and beaches. The neighbors are all very friendly.

Summer vacation

House was great. The information said it was 2 blocks from the beach but more like 1/2 mile. Lots of room for several families and the ping pong table was a big hit.

Perfect for a weekend trip

This house was really cute and well kept and decorated. We felt safe in the neighborhood despite being in Gary, IN. There was ample parking space for our group (5 cars, though you could probably fit 6 or 7). We had 8 guests and felt that this house could comfortably sleep 10. Great table space for meal times (easily fit 8 people at the big table). Nice patio with comfy furniture. We did not end using the fire pit but were happy that we had the option to. Kitchen is stocked with cooking utensils, baking sheets, serving platters, as well as silverware, cups, bowls, and plates. Bathrooms stocked with towels, toilet paper, soaps, and even a hair dryer. Our group chose to go to the National Park for beach day which was only 11 minutes away (the National Park does have a fee). It is obvious that the hosts care about this house. I would definitely stay here again!
