I was torn between giving it four stars and five. There was nothing wrong with the place at all. Small and quaint, clean and near the beach so kitchen was very helpful to eat some meals without going out. Beach was less than a block away. Room was adequate but very expensive for a queen bed that barely fit in the room. Couldn’t barely get to the closet. Floors warping a bit. Shower was warm , not hot. Front desk was immensely helpful and friendly. Email communications were very thorough and informative. Restaurants and bars nearby. Good parking. Small pool that was shady part of the day. Larger pool across the street. Nice overall stay.

The rental is nice and clean. Check in process was easy and the property manager was nice and accommodating. We loved that they offer towels, beach chairs and umbrellas which were useful and saved us from having to pay for rentals all weekend. Super close by to the beach and walkable to a good amount of dining options. We did run into a few issues; the mattress sank, the foot of the bed was too close to the wall and made it difficult to walk to the other side of the bed, we could not find the wifi network and could not use wifi during our stay. The AC went out on our last night so it made it really uncomfortable. We didn’t bother to reach out since it was late and it was our last night there. I’m sure they would have helped us had we reached out to the office, so it’s not entirely their fault. We were focused on enjoying the beach and didn’t want to spend too much time dealing with the issues.

Florida escape

The unit was very clean and well appointed. It would have been nice to have a beach chair in the unit however. First come first serve does not guarantee one available. Short walk to the beach as described. convenient location with free transportation to village. (tips) 7 eleven close by too.Very spacious bathroom with large shower but it steals room from foot of bed to get to closet. Nice but small bedroom. Found that if I have both the bedroom lights on and ceiling fan at the same time it shorts out the circuit. The AC works well so just did not use fan after re-setting. It was not obvious which circuit tripped however. Finally figured it out (late at night) Pool is cloudy ? Overall comfortable, very clean, great proximity to beach, appreciated the complimentary first day coffee, ample beach and bath towels plus hair dryer. Not cheap but consistent with prices close to beach. Had a great stay

Master bed sank to the bottom Mold and urine on pull couch documented called VRBO & apoke to management company. Office worker Martha closed office locked door and went home because her shift was over and couldn’t reach anyone. She told me to find a room somewhere that she wouldn’t sleep there either . Unbelievable disgusted & disappointed

Reviewer Comments: Unfortunately, after staying here during July 4th week for over 10 years, this was our last. We’ve seen the property go from stellar to very little to no maintenance. The rooms are mostly outdated and this stay the oven was not operational. Weeds in places that should not be and a cold hot tub. We will not be returning to this high rent no frills location.

Long weekend away in the sun.

Property was as listed. Room/suite was clean. Location to beach and food/entertainment was great, easily walkable. Only mild complaint would be the pool/hot tub. It was closed for a few days and then a little cloudy for our stay. Just timing I guess. There was an alternate pool right across that we had access too, which was great. Very pleased with the location and stay. Would go back.

Location was great 3 mins walk from beach. Which you access with a gate code that is provided. The room was as described. The only thing missing would be a vacuum.

Reviewer Comments: The pool was cloudy and dirty the entire week with zero communication on whether or not safe to swim in. When a family member did inquire, was told a part was broken and waiting to be fixed. Conflicting story with another family member who was told pool people only come every other day. Regardless pool was disgusting, still water for 6 days with filter not running the entire time so I didn’t allow my kids to swim in it.The property was run down. Broken light outside our door, dirty dishes/silverware drawer, dirty comforter, moldy/dark areas in grout of shower, no extra towels, trash left around property. I’ve sent two emails (one while still present on property and one when I checked out) with photos. Still no response from either email I sent.Each time I stopped into the office no one was there and when you call it just rings in the empty office. One time I did catch someone when I was trying to get beach towels and was told they had none because the linen company didn’t come. They seem understaffed which is effecting their and condition of their property. We stayed here a year ago and had a wonderful experience which is why I rebooked but something has drastically changed.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival there was no blankets for our pull out sofa. Luckily we had brought one and our girls used that. The next day we were given a bedspread for a blanket. I guess it did the job but how does a resort not have enough blankets available for there guests. Also, the oven did not work at all. Luckily, we only went to use it once to warm up some leftover dinner, but couldn’t do that so we had soggy pasta leftovers out of the microwave. When we went to turn our fan on over the bed, it completely tripped the breaker so we could not turn the fan on at all. The dumpster area where guests are supposed to trash is disgusting. And I never saw them put chemicals in the hot tub or pool one time. The one good thing I can say about it is the location is excellent. It is sad that the resort is being ran the way it is - it could be so nice.

Property Great; Condo had Issues

The Beach at Siesta Key is a great property. It was close to the beach, restaurants, shopping & the bridge to the Mainland. The individual condo had issues. When you have knee challenges stairs are a problem. The decor of the condo was pleasing-nice fluffy towels, beach towels, stainless steel appliances, roomy shower stall, love the light fixture in the bathroom. Some problems need to be fixed. The stove did not work. The faucets in the bathroom were hard to turn & the water pressure needed to be more forceful. The power occasionally turned off in the bedroom (breaker switch was tripped). The distance between the bed (hide-a-bed also) and the wall was not adequate except if you scoot sideways (very annoying). The bedroom window needed to be cleaned. The complimentary shampoo was below standard quality, though the Tommy Bahama body cream was great. The pool was superior. A hot tub is available. Guests are asked to strip the bed of sheet & pile them with the towels & take out the trash.

Nice Place

Condo was clean and updated. Appliances worked well, nice walk-in tiled shower. The location was within walking distance of shopping, restaurants and bars. The beach was a short walk as well. Would stay again. The pool and hot tub were maintained nicely. Beach chairs and umbrellas were always available which was convenient. The only issue was the beach - only front row condos get private access to sitting. Off beach condo residents have to fight for beach front during lowtide or go to the public beach.

Bedroom is worthless

We stayed two nights. It's a good location with access to the beach and bars/ restaurants. Check in was smooth. The bedroom is one you have to see to believe, and not in a good way. The room is so small that a queen size bed nearly covers the entire length. There is about an 8 inch opening between the four of the bed and the wall. On this wall is mounted a TV with a coaxial cord sticking out. Good luck navigating that in the middle of the night. On top of that, the mattress is unusable. It badly needs to be replaced. I was unable to sleep in the bed as a result. Don't rent this unit, 100D

Great place and location!! Room had everything we needed. We loved having not one but two pools available and the easy access to the beautiful beach. My only complaint were the very very slippery floors. And thankfully we had our own beach equipment but that could use an update. We would book again in the future.
