Lakefront Retreat - August & September Dates Available

Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood that overlooks the Kenai Mountains and has private lake access from the backyard. The lake is not stocked, but there are several ADFG-stocked lakes nearby.

Centrally located for world-class salmon and halibut fishing and other Kenai Peninsula explorations. 15 minutes from Soldotna & the Kenai River or 10 minutes from the Kasilof River. Just over an hour to sea charters in Homer. Perfect for a family vacation or a group of fishing enthusiasts.

Enjoy your fresh catch off the grill on the beautiful back deck. With the midnight sun, you’ll still have time for a quiet canoe and s'mores at the firepit afterwards.

The Space: Well-appointed kitchen with island open to dining area and living room. One queen bedroom downstairs, full bathroom and laundry room with chest freezer. Two bedrooms upstairs - king and twin with en-suite full bath; queen and twin with half bath. Large back porch overlooking lake and upstairs porches overlooking lake and Cook Inlet, respectively.

Beautiful fire pit and lake access in the backyard.

Please note that we do not have a TV at this property.

Guests may access entire home, dock and yard.

Quiet and private year-round neighborhood. Strict quiet hours outdoors as neighbors leave for work very early and sound carries down hill and across lake.

Please exercise quiet hours @ 10 pm. Neighbors will let us know if things are too loud.
Review fire safe rules and ensure no fire bans in place before using fire pit. Keep grill on gravel pad and turn propane off when done.
Please clean fish at river cleaning stations. Do not wash fish gut or muddy clothes in our washing machine. Remove shoes at door.

Incredible experience staying here during our fishing trip in Kenai. Property was nestled in a beautiful, peaceful location. Easy access to everything. Host communicated so well and even went out of her way to care for us and make sure our stay was excellent. Couldn’t have been happier and definitely recommend this place as a platinum location and host!

Fantastic stay!!! Beautiful home, beautiful property, great location! Hosts were so friendly, accomodating and very easy to communicate with. This home is so well stocked...so many special touches and just very well thought out for the guests. There was not one thing that we needed that they didn't have...well maybe except for a bear and moose sighting LOL. We even got a daily dinnertime visit by the neighbor's adorable black lab, River, who loves prime rib!!! Thank you Alicia and Joel for making our stay seamless and very memorable!!!! Lynne and Don

Incredible lakefront home with beautiful mountain views in a quiet neighborhood. This comfortable, nicely furnished home is close to popular attractions, restaurants, shopping and fishing.Everything about this home is exactly as pictured and described! The modern kitchen is fully equipped and comes with a great coffee and tea cart for your first cup of the day. The living room is a perfect, peaceful spot to relax and take in the scenic views. The bedrooms are beautifully appointed with ultra-comfy beds, and the bathrooms were clean and fully stocked with the essentials.It’s has so many great features, including a deep freezer and a flawlessly washer and dryer setup. The backyard and outdoor areas are fantastic - there is a nice deck to sit, relax and enjoy the view of a well-manicured yard, with a kids’ swing set and a beautiful seating area near the lake.Our host was absolutely phenomenal! Communication was seamless from booking through checkout, and she checked in to assure that our stay was flawless. Truly our best stay in Alaska - we highly recommend this home and would absolutely stay here again!

Beautiful yard and lake

This was a magical week- the kids loved the yard and outside spaces. I wouldn’t change anything. It was perfect.

Fantastic!

Very accurate listing/pictures. Family friendly, we are traveling with ages 2-81 years young and the house fit all of our needs! Very clean and comfortable. We loved having the yard for the kids to run around. The proximity to the ocean was a plus as we went beach fishing a few days. We enjoyed our stay very much, it was a nice home to come to after adventuring during the day!

Beautiful property, GREAT PLACE TO STAY

AWESOME well stocked house that had everything you would need & things you didn't know you would need. Beds were great, check in was easy, communication was great! The house worked well for 3 adult couples, enough room to not be on top of each other. Could use more seating in the living area but we just brought in 2 chairs from the deck which worked. Location is beautiful, saw the mountains couple days. Had a moose with 2 babies walk right thru the yard our 2nd night there! Would DEFINITELY stay there again and recommend it to everyone going to the Kenai area. You’re centrally located. We went to Homer, Seward, and fished on the Kasilof River. Truly a treasure.
