Recently remodeled spacious, air conditioned, 1196 sq. ft. 2 bedroom/2 bath unit condo with bamboo floors. The most sought after unit in the building, its top floor corner location offers 180 degree ocean views with plenty of light and soft ocean breezes from both the west and the south sides.

The condo complex, Kona Nalu, is located on Ali'I Drive and is an intimate 15-unit, 3 floor building with an ocean front pool, wifi, covered parking and an elevator.

Whether lounging on the 300 foot lanai or just relaxing inside the living room, master bedroom, or kitchen; you can watch the surfers, the sunsets, or the spinning dolphins and whales frolicking in the blue Pacific. With a nearly constant temperature in the 80s, and a cool ocean breeze, your oceanfront Kona Beach Condo is a tropical dream.

If you are seeking local markets and historical context, downtown Kailua-Kona is conveniently located just 2 miles north of the unit for easy access to shopping, waterfront restaurants, night clubs and the famous Farmer's Market.

To the south you will find excellent snorkeling, surfing and sunbathing at beautiful White Sands Beach Park or Kahalu'u Beach Park. Stayed on the beautiful island of Hawaii

Beautiful property. Absolutely spectacular lanai with waves right up to the lower floor. Could hear ocean from inside condo. We were on the third floor with wrap around lanai. Elevator and air conditioning.

Fabulous location and views!

Excellent location and views. We found the condo very clean and easy to check in and out. Nice new kitchen, comfortable bed, indoor furniture dated but clean and adequate. Neighbors were helpful and friendly. Gave great restaurant recommendations. We’d rent here again. Paul at the management company was excellent to work with (easy to get ahold of).

Spectacular Oceanfront Condo

When we originally booked this condo it had several outside seating/lounging options. When we arrived it had a table with 4 chairs and only 1 lounger. That was a little disappointing. The condo was very clean and well stocked. It is truly on the ocean the view was outstanding.

This place is superb. We’ve stayed in at least 15 vrbos in Hawaii, most were very nice, but none compared to this condo in Kona. When renting, there are several things that matter, and this place has it all: Comfortable furniture (in and out) Well stocked kitchen utensils, pans etc. Hangers in the very large closet Lots of drawers and hooks It has AC but we didn’t use it Clean clean clean! Beautiful renovation! It was like IKEA, they thought of everything. The location and view can’t be beat. One review mentions noise from the church next door, it is not an issue. It was quiet~aside from the awesome crashing waves. We loved it and would definitely stay here again. Mahalo

Wonderful View

Very lovely spacious condo. Only 1 bedroom available as owners use 2nd bedroom for storage. But we knew that up front. The master bedroom is quite large and the king size bed was VERY comfortable…no back pain at all during our stay. Only complaint would be that the elevator conked out one day, but called the number posted outside the elevator, and someone was sent out to fix it later that same day. Also, tv wasn’t working…problem with cable company….but didn’t really miss it. The sound of the ocean is always far more enjoyable than television at Kona Nalu!

25th Anniversary and 1st Trip to HI

We had to change plans from Maui just a few days before our trip and I was worried about finding something we liked as much as the Maui condo in such short notice. This place did NOT disappoint! It was the very best supplied rental we have ever stayed in. They seriously thought of everything! The view from the lanai was absolutely amazing and the sunsets out there were breathtaking. Condo was clean, ready early and we didn’t have one issue. Two things to be aware of-it’s on the third floor with no elevator. This may be an issue for some but we were fine with it. (Hubby did all the carrying!) the other I saw mentioned in a review before we booked. The condo is a corner unit and there is a small but very active church right next door. It didn’t bother us though. There are shades on that side of the lanai, if you want to close them but we were up high enough, it didn’t phase us. Condo is in a great location with easy access to the main road, going to “town” but not in the middle of craziness. The people below us had just bought and moved there part time and we’re super friendly. Book this condo, you will be glad you did.

Oceanfront Accommodations

We enjoyed staying in your very well appointed ocean front, ocean view condominium,. We found everything that we needed to have a really enjoyable stay. I would say the only challenge we faced was trying to get a cross draft to cool the place off at night. There are a lot of fans but getting a breeze to do down the hall and through the screen door on the front was practically impossible most nights but we eventually were able to get the place cool enough to sleep in each night and I have to say that I for sure Highly recommend lstaying there as it is a true oceanfront experience. Would stay again if I return to the island.

The elevator smelled absolutely horrible, unfortunately I had to take because of walking issues. Towels were old and ragged, bed was horrible, dryer filter filthy, no umbrellas at the pool to get out of the sun, limited pots and pans. etc.

Incredible Views

The crown jewel of this rental is the view from the huge balcony - we spent so much time just sitting and enjoying the beautiful sunsets and listening to the waves. The condo was clean, well stocked, and in a nice location. Just for full disclosure - it does sit next to a church which had outdoor activities pretty much every night - most were over by early evening but you do get some noise- was not a bothersome level. We would definitely rent again if we are back on the big island. Thanks for sharing your place with us.

Oceanfront, oceanfront, oceanfront!

If you love being on the ocean, you cannot do better than this well located, comfortable and well equipped condo. Its spacious and quiet. We had a wonderfully relaxing week. Debbie was warm and helpful. And did I mention the oceanfront lanai? Heaven.

Incredibly Beautiful Ocean Views

We never tired of sitting on the lanai and enjoying the breezes and watching and listening to the ocean waves come in. The location was fantastic as a launchpad for the rest of the island and the home itself was in excellent shape and well appointed. Super comfortable bed and recliner chairs. Everything we needed in the kitchen. Thanks for making your property available. It was lovely.

Beautiful Spot

This place was perfect for us. Place was clean, view was gorgeous, perfect location, was well equipped. If you don't use a car, the free trolley will come by each half hour for a trip to towns or beaches nearby. The owners were very pleasant and easy to work with. Hope to come again soon.

Fantastic!

What a fabulous place to spend our vacation! The condo is comfortable, clean and in an amazing location. We truly felt at home during our stay. Sitting on the lanai each morning with the sound of the waves and coffee was the best. Communication with Debbie was effortless and checking in and out was a breeze. I hope we can come back soon!

Amazing place to stay in kona

Sitting on lanai or even sleeping with ocean out the window is one of the finest experiences one can have.unit is clean,spacious,mostly quiet except on Sunday with church Next door, beautiful end unit panoramic view. Unfortunately elevator was being repaired, but this is a temporary condition; it was fine last time we were here. Owner provided help for moving luggage out, and luckily we had son to help move us in,but renters may want to check on elevator condition prior to arrival. pool is being fixed this year so may not be available. But all in all cannot think of a better place to stay in Kona.
