This home is in the perfect spot to hit the sea and sand on Folly Beach <8 miles away and later head downtown to eat and drink at the best restaurants 6 miles away! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Low Country Escape in Charleston. It was a great location for visiting both Charleston and Folly Beach, and had numerous grocery stores and restaurant options nearby. The home was equipped with everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen with special items (Insta-pot, Keurig, etc.). We flew to Charleston, so were grateful for the beach chairs and sand toys that were provided since we were not able to bring our own. There was also a numerous supply of bath towels and supplies, which was an added bonus.

Perfect escape!

It was a great place. Everything was as it said. Beds were comfortable. We would book this place again. Great place if want to do Charleston as well as spend sometime on beach.

Family visit

We had a great stay visiting our two sons who live in the area. We wanted a nice kitchen to cook two suppers and the kitchen was well stocked. The beds were comfortable and the fenced in back yard was perfect for our dogs. Can’t wait to return.

Enjoyed the Comforts of this Home

We really enjoyed our stay. The house had every amenity you could need. The house is cozy and the neighborhood is very quiet. The owner was very responsive when I did need assistance. I would definitely stay again should I travel back to Charleston. We traveled from Texas so we loves the rug in the living room.

Wonderful stay in Charleston

Very welcoming home with all the essentials you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Loved the neighborhood and felt very safe. Close to EVERYTHING from shopping, beach, food, parks. Would stay here again for sure.

Nice house

We chose this house because it was close to West Ashley where our son lives. The house was clean and in good condition. we could not access the tvs in the bedrooms but it wasn’t a problem since we didn’t spend much time there.

Close to everything!

The location was perfect for accessing downtown Charleston! The host provides access to more things than typical rentals do! I was very satisfied with our stay.

Christmas Cozy

Nicely decorated, including Christmas tree and lights for our holiday stay! Clean and open. Great Location on James island, minutes to Family and downtown. One bed needs a little more "comfort" but the owners were close at hand :) Everyone Enjoyed! Thank you!

Graduation Weekend

Great place on James Island. The best place I’ve stayed for the Citadel functions. 12-15 minutes from the school. We used it for graduation weekend. Would recommend to any Citadel alumni or parents!

The house was nice and the host was very responsive

We had a great time, we were a little difficult in regards to checking in and out as we had one guest you complicated things a bit as a result of unexpected flight changes but the host worked with us to better accommodate our schedules.
