This rental was mine and my wife’s favorite we’ve ever stayed in. The location is perfect, it feels like its own secluded oasis while also being located right between the beach and downtown. The property is quiet, clean, and the perfect size for a couple. Our hosts were very kind and had the place stocked with everything we needed for our stay as well as our beach day. We hope to come back again in the future.

My husband and I will definitely be back. What a special little spot close to both the beach and downtown Charleston! The property is stunning. I recommend sitting on the porch with your coffee at dawn. Keep your eyes out for the neighborhood owls! I had a great chat with the owner in her beautiful garden. I can’t recommend this spot enough.

Wonderful cottage that was perfectly located between the city and the beach. Very quiet location and the house was fully stocked with amenities. The Park Pass was a really nice bonus!

This was a great bungalow for my wife and I to have a weekend getaway! The screened-in porch was the selling point and the sturdy hammock was icing on the cake. They also had a fire pit and outside shower, but not a jacuzzi, which is the only thing missing, or this review would have been 10 out of 10. If you like quietness and seclusion, this is the place for you.

We loved spending our honeymoon here! It’s the perfect location for both beach days and Charleston day trips. The place was spotlessly clean with the perfect amount of space for two. It was also very quiet and the porch was pleasant for afternoon siestas. We couldn’t recommend it enough!

Folly è Deux is a lovely home, equipped with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Close to Charleston, and to local tourist attractions, it is ideal for a relaxing vacation!

Our stay was incredible! We really loved the set up and the bungalow feel. You’re constantly surrounded by nature and calmness. There were a lot of things available for us which was very kind by the hosts to provide. Be mindful that it is close to the beach by car, not walking. So be sure to either rent a car or have an Uber. The hosts offer a parking card which helps tremendously! I definitely want to come back soon. I recommend this stay for everyone!!!

Our 4th visit here, loved every minute of our stay. Conveniently located to shopping, the beach, and downtown Charleston. David and Josephine are always so welcoming. The screened in porch is the perfect place to listen and look for wildlife-a beautiful owl family graced us each day this year! This has become an annual tradition for my husband and I and we truly look forward each year to our visit!

Everything was supper clean when we got there. They provided towels and some other personal care things. The owners were very nice. The kitchen is kinda small but it worked for just the two of us! Having the laundry room was nice as well!

My name is Elizabeth and I am the Property Manager for the bungalow. The owners, David and Josephine, live adjacent to the property. Don’t worry there is plenty of privacy between the properties. David and Jo have traveled the world and still enjoy getting on the road as often as possible. With their worldly knowledge and also experience owning and operating a restaurant in NY they pay close attention to the details and are amazing at providing the best possible experience for their guests. Between the 3 of us we love what we do and love to open up Folly A Deux to guests. We want you all to come experience CHS just the way you should- at ease. This property is very tranquil and provides a home away from home experience with all of the bells and whistles. We hope you will come and enjoy the bungalow!

Very well maintained bungalow situated in a secluded area. Great little escape for couples looking for some R&R! You will not be disappointed!

Centrally located on James Island. You are 10 minutes to historic Charleston and only 15 minutes to the closest beach, Folly Beach! Excellent restaurants nearby and plenty of grocery stores too! The home comes with a park pass that will gain you access to the local parks. There is one about 2 miles away and also one on Folly Beach. Safe neighborhood. Great for walking. Lovely screened in porch for relaxing, playing a game, or just enjoying the outdoor temps!
