Second Year in a Row

This was our second time staying at Marshmellow and just as fun as the first. The property is as described, great location near Whitman Hollow but still quiet off the main boat channel into the marina. Water off the dock is great for swimming and hanging out all day! Boat slip is well protected and in good shape for bringing your own boat. Such a fun experience to bring kids onto a floating house!

Great house at Whitman Hollow!

If you are looking to stay in a floating house at Whitman this is one of the nicest! The house is clean and updated. The outdoor space was our favorite, so much room! Especially since we didn’t have the best weather. The outdoor grill worked great. The covered slip was a bonus. Overall this is a great house.

Second stay and still A+

Took my mom here for her 70th birthday and could not have been happier. My wife and I visited the Marshmellow last year and fell in love with it. My mom did too! We will continue to frequent the house whenever we can get to Norris Lake.

Great spot

Very chill location for water sports. Never stayed on floating house before - kind of like glamping. Great host - easy communications and everything you need is there.

Great location, perfect for family getaway

The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. The house was equipped with everything we needed for a long weekend. This was our first time staying in a floating house and loved the experience. The location at Whitman Hollow was easy to find, located in calm water and a great starting point to get out and around Norris. We would definitely stay at MarshMellow again!

Perfect in every way!

The house is clean and nicely decorated. The AC is cold enough for a polar bear and the covered boat slip was outstanding during a rain storm. We drank coffee, had breakfast and read books on the front porch every day. I’ll day dream of the Marshmallow next week at work This house has made us want to buy one and we will be in the market before too long. Can’t say enough good things.

The ultimate in relaxation!

We spent 5 days at this house and enjoyed every minute. The view from the front porch and deck is beautiful and so peaceful. Loved having the covered slip for those few hours we had rain. The inside of the house was clean and roomy for the 4 of us.

Beautiful

We have been coming to Norris lake for 13 years. This was our first stay at this house and it was one of the nicest we have ever been in. We would definitely stay here again. Enjoyed every second of it. Thank you.

Relaxing

Property was as advertised. Clean, well kept, well appointed. Everything worked as it should which is unusual for vacation rentals. A/C was awesome. Overall great experience. Only negatives very limited phone service even on Wi-Fi (can be a good thing) boat launch and parking is VERY busy on the weekends. Courtesy docks and marina docks had limited space and access was a challenge.

Our Floating Home has given so many families an chance to bond and to have a unique experience together. Norris has many of these small floating home communities but we love the Whitman Hollow Marina community the most. There are so many things to do!
