Welcome to Beachy Keen! Pack your swimsuits and sunglasses and head to this vacation rental bungalow in Midtown Galveston. When you're not out at the beach or exploring the Strand, watch a movie in the comfortable living room, or enjoy the fire pit in the shared backyard! With 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and plenty of indoor and outdoor space, this vacation rental is ideal for a family retreat or group getaway.

PARKING: Driveway (1 vehicle), additional street parking (first-come, first-served)

ADDT’L ACCOMMODATIONS: Two additional properties are available on-site, each with separate nightly rates: 1 property for 4 guests and 1 property for 2 guests. If you would like to reserve multiple rentals, please inquire for more information prior to booking.

In respecting the neighbors and the other two residences on the property, please adhere to quiet hours from 10:30 pm to 7 am.

Wonderful Galveston Home!!

I’m already planning my next visit around this house!! It was inviting, comfortable, quiet, and only a mile from the Seawall!! We spent more time at the house than I had originally planned because it was wonderful! We will be back here for sure!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Beachy Keen! It looks small from the street, but all the rooms were generous in size and we had plenty of space to spread out. It was very clean and well furnished, with plenty of dishes, pans, appliances, towels, etc. It even had shampoos etc. in the bathrooms, as well as dishwasher and laundry detergents. It does have street parking, but we never had any trouble finding a close spot. You can easily walk to the beach and the neighborhood seemed very safe. The hostess was very responsive when we had questions. Before we left, one family member couldn't find his wallet, but thought he'd left it somewhere. After not finding it there, we texted the hostess to have her cleaner "keep her eyes open for it." Within 5 minutes she called to say the cleaner had found it! We were so thankful! We would definitely stay here again!

Owners went above and beyond

First, everyone loved the property. It is very aesthetically pleasing. The kitchen is well furnished (including an air fryer!) which was very handy for us. Bathrooms and bedrooms very nice and well updated. We actually also had some car trouble while we stayed here and one of the owners even personally came out to help us. Definitely went above and beyond which was very much appreciated. We would definitely stay here again.

Galveston Getaway

Went to Galveston with my two sons and one daughter in law to celebrate my 90th birthday at the Galveston Country Club. Family from Houston joined us there. I have been coming to Galveston for 50 years and this was by far the best VRBO ,. Sparkling clean and beautifully arranged for comfort and privacy. We hope to return.

Fun Beachy Getaway

We really enjoyed our time in Galveston! This was our first experience using a VRBO and we were very impressed with the space and all of the included amenities. Everything that we needed was readily available at the house and the kids loved staying in their bunk room. Host was very responsive to any concerns and checked in with us at the beginning and end of our trip to see how things were going. We could walk to the beach if we wanted although we found the lack of sidewalks made the walks a little tricky and preferred to drive. There was also some road construction around the area that was unexpected. Lots to do nearby and the guidebook left by the host was very helpful!

Perfect family place

Our family met in Galveston for vacation. It was a first for all of us. The house was absolutely perfect! When everyone gathered at our place there was a total of 13 and the house is so spacious we never felt crowded. Huge open kitchen and dining and opens into the living room. Nicely decorated, air was nice and cool, water was hot. The owner was very accessible and prompt to reply. I thought it was a little closer to the beach but we just drove instead of walked. Definitely 5 stars!

Newly renovated great use of space house!

They did an amazing job renovating this house! Feels so warm and welcoming and such a great use of all the space! We loved the large kitchen and backyard area, also the beds were comfortable and AC worked great! Overall amazing experience!!!!

Great option during cool seasons

This is a cute little house that was perfect for a 3 generation get-away. The house is well appointed and decorated. The host is friendly and very responsive. There is only one parking space plus street parking. The backyard is potentially a shared space with apartments above the garage. But the reason I only gave 3 stars is that the AC just isn't a large enough unit to keep the house cool when the weather gets hot. I would stay here again but only during a cool time of year.

Perfect home for a weekend getaway!

We recently stayed at the Beechy Keen property with some friends for a weekend away and had the best time! The house is stunning and the location is perfect for a quick day down at to the beach or the strand. The home was spacious and decorated so nicely. Hosts were so welcoming and kind all weekend. We will definitely stay here again!

Weekend in Galveston

We stayed at the house while my daughter and nieces were performing on the island throughout the weekend. Great location with easy access to the Seawall and the Strand. Communications with the owner were smooth and easy and we appreciated the many small touches throughout the house (and an excellent local guide binder, which we found useful even though we are familiar with the island’s establishments). House was very comfortable. Clean, very well maintained and ample sleeping accommodations and bedding. Kitchen was fabulous with plenty of space and modern appliances. (With family in town for the performances, we also had a small early celebration for my son’s birthday and were delighted to find birthday candles in the kitchen.) I’d definitely recommend the house for a Galveston getaway any time of the year!
