Other things to note
2 adults-2children max.

Part of experiencing the 4000 ft elevation views is the drive up. Roads are steep and curvy. Traveled by 1000's of tourists daily. Just Drive slow:)

Part of being in TGSM is bear sightings. There’s great chances you will see bears. Be aware of your surroundings and never feed them. It’s illegal.
Also sighting of bugs of all sorts. Some even make their way into our place from time to time.

Please remove shoes inside condo. It’s a tiny space and causes the floors to transfer dirt easily to feet.

Upon checkout:Take out all trash. Make sure all dishes are clean. No confetti. Put everything back in proper place. Set thermostat to 67 heat

Do not leave cars unlocked. Especially with food inside. Bears can enter. No glitter. No confetti

Cute condo away from the crowds

My best friend and I had a really great stay at the Palmers' condo. We were at the end of Gatlinburg and up the mountain, and we had the joy of seeing bears everyday to and from the condo! The condo had everything we needed to feel at home. The main bed was firm, and the sleeper sofa was what you would except from a sleeper sofa. We easily found sheets for the sleeper sofa, and there were extra blankets/quilted comforters (4) and pillows in the condo. The hot water seemed to be lacking if you were second in line for a shower, so expect to need time between showers/baths for the water to heat up. The condo was comfortable for its small footprint. Even with the sofa bed pulled out, we never felt crammed for space. We didn't use the stove, but the oven worked fine (I couldn't find any cookie sheets to warm up pizza, so we just put it on the rack and called it good). There was a full size fridge for all the food you could need for a weekend or week. The host provided shampoo, conditioner, 2 rolls of toilet paper, 1 bar of soap, 1 small tube of toothpaste, and a toothbrush for each guest, which was really nice! There were no check out instructions that we could find, so we just cleaned our dishes, hung up dirty towels and took out the trash. The front door is a keyed entry which was much easier than dealing with a key or keycard. The indoor pool and hot tubs have reopened, and the hot tub was perfect after a day of hiking. We would definitely stay here again!

Cute studio apartment

Cute little condo it looks just like the pictures, bed was comfortable, it needs a deep cleaning really bad. It had a really bad funky smell, the sheets and towels also had the funky smell. I went to Walmart and bought my own towels and sheets to use. I also got a couple air fresheners and disinfectant and wiped everything down that I would be touching.

Will be back!

This was a perfect location for seeing bears and other wildlife! The condo is cute and perfect for a couple. It is nicely decorated and has nice amenities. This will be our go to place from now on.

Girls Trip

I would say the biggest frustration was the lack of phone services and internet issues. Could have been the router but we had basically no service while in the room. It is a very small space with one bed and a pull out couch. It was very clean. Some small amenity touches noted in the bathroom. Over all it was just smaller than really expected. Two people would be about the extent of it due to space restrictions. Honestly, I would not book this again for a girl's trip needing two separate spaces for sleeping. Affordable and clean though for sure. Area seemed safe. No loud neighbors. Pool on property was close. We did see a bear outside the morning we left on the property.
