Whether used as a private getaway for two or a place to rest at night after doing all the area has to offer, you will love this well-furnished unit.

Main-Level in the B building. 1 bedroom/1 bath unit sleeps up to 4.

1 bedroom . 1 king bed, queen sleeper sofa.

This property has a fully equipped kitchen; a wood-burning fireplace in the living area with cozy seating and large, smart, flat-screen TV; and a private balcony providing amazing views of The Smoky National Forest with Bent Creek Golf Course in the foreground. Watch the incredible rapidly changing mountain views from the balcony, bedroom, or picnic area. Mountain sunsets are incredible. Enjoy the lights of Gatlinburg and Ober Gatlinburg in the distance. Convenient to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Great Smoky Mountain National Forest or just enjoy a relaxing getaway.

THIS 2nd LEVEL UNIT IS AT STREET LEVEL, WHICH MAKES FOR EASY ENTRY IN A BUILDING WITH NO ELEVATORS.

Lots of wildlife we often see a family of deer and on occasion, we will see a black bear and her cubs.

In addition to condo amenities, our neighborhood hosts 3 pools, a golf course, and for larger events, guests rent space from the neighborhood HOA office at the very top of the mountain.

Last min get away-

The stay was quick but great! Comfortable, a little older but shouldn't it be that way in the mountains! Felt like I was staying at a family members house.

Wonderful views and nice condo.

The property was nice and homey. The views off of the balcony were beautiful with a wonderful view of the Great Smoky Mountains. We had no problems with our stay. I would definitely stay again.

Stunning view

No doubt the view was incredible and we enjoyed our stay. The owner was great and there for us with any questions we had. Seeing a momma bear and two cubs was a bonus. One note to mention is this condo is perfect if you plan on staying at the condo and chilling. Its fairly far from conveniences such as restaurants, entertainment, hiking etc and the road up to condo is extremely curvy and narrow.

Spring Break Vacation

It was nice to stay in a condo instead of a hotel. Golf course was open and not crowded. Tenants upstairs were loud a couple of nights. The owner of our property helped to get things quieted down. much appreciated.

I definitely recommend. I had trouble with the lock after the first night. I contacted the owner and he was very prompt to come fix it for me. Nice area with playground and basketball court, indoor poop and coin laundry.

Quiet mountaintop getaway

Visited for my husband’s birthday weekend. The view from the condo was fantastic. The drive up was steeper than expected so if fear of heights is a concern, be aware there are not guardrails on much of the road up the mountain. Furniture was comfy. Kitchen clean. Got a bit chilly when temperatures dropped and winds picked up and furnace had a challenge keeping up. Overall a nice visit. Would certainly return.

Overall Good Stay - But Can Be Better

This is our impression of the place. The good: The place was overall in good condition. Incredible views of the mountains from the balcony. About 30 minutes from the Great Smoky National Park and downtown Gatlinburg. What can be improved: Upon arrival, our code to enter was not working, so we had to wait at least 15 minutes before entering the unit. We ended up calling management. The place needed more cleaning. There were food marks and handprints on the dishwasher and some of the doors. The floor was kind of sticky and needed to be mopped and vacuumed. Dust and dirt were on some of the tables. We had reserved for four people, but no sheets or blankets were provided for the sofa bed. The frame for the mattress of the sofa bed was broken, so it went down when weight was put on it. The mattress also was very springy and bumpy and not comfortable to sleep on. Overall, our stay was good, and with a few improvements this unit could be so much better.

Quiet but a bit disappointing

Bearly Wait Condo - We stay regularly in short term rentals, enjoy doing most everything and do not complain often. Unfortunately, this extended weekend get-away was a bit disappointing. This weekend was meant to be for quiet walks, hiking, jacuzzi time and a little bit of time downtown. Our largest disappointment was the lack of basic cleaning and supplies within the condo . There was long dark hair, dead bugs and an absorbent amount of dust throughout the condo. I contacted the property management through leaving voicemail messages and a text message requesting cleaning service. We did not hear back from anyone. LOCATION - We are seasoned hikers and very used to properties in the mountains - however this one is located on a hill-side so steep that there is zero opportunity to walk, hike or explore from the condo. JACUZZI - the indoor pool/jacuzzi area was a public pool room with jacuzzi that was also in need of cleaning and repairs. Bearly Wait is a darling condo. With better cleaning services and a little bit of guest hospitality (coffee pods, welcome items, local information etc) would be a nice get away for an indoor writer's weekend or someone seeking a quiet weekend in with no external stimulus. We ended up checking out a day early. Again, I texted the management company to inform them we had checked out - still with no response to inquire about our concern or our stay.

Spectacular View!

This property is everything we expected and more. The view was spectacular. The unit was nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. There was everything you needed for your stay. Check in was a breeze, parking easy. The only issue is driving up at night. The road is curvey, but if you go slow there is no problem. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Spectacular Views

Stunning views, warm & cozy condo Great location just far enough away from the hustle & bustle of Gatlinburg. But close enough to the Smokey Mts National Park & others attractions . Would definitively come back @ stay at this property again

I have aspirations of retiring to the mountains and managing 5 of our own properties and 15 other luxury vacation rentals. A condo purchase in May of 2018 represents our 3rd property. In November of 2023, I purchased a fourth property, a railroad caboose. Throughout 2024, we will be converting the Caboose to a luxury 1 bedroom property with a goal of having it on rental for spring of 2025.

In 2013, we took over the daily management of the properties. We aren't perfect but we do believe in continuous improvement. We consider our places to be part of your vacation experience and as such we are part of 100's of joyous times with families and friends. Our hope is that the cabin & your stay in this beautiful city is a wonderful, lifelong memory.

A short drive to Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, and Biltmore Estate.

Roads maintained by the HOA, winter snows are addressed immediately making chains or 4 WD unnecessary. As legal disclaimer assumes vehicle operator exercised prudent judgment using plowed roads. I personally have not used 4 WD to access the property and have had about 6 snows now.
