This water-view cottage is tucked above Port Jefferson Harbor in a premiere enclave and noted bird sanctuary. Watch calming sunsets over the harbor from the sunroom, patio or the brand new 5 person hot-tub spa. We also offer a 3rd bedroom for larger groups. Footsteps from downtown! This property has it all.

The cottage on a private acre is spacious offering a full working kitchen, washer and dryer and 2nd bathroom. You will feel at home the moment you enter! Dogs are allowed w/notice. $65 weekly/visit fee.

Convenient, relaxing and charming

Quiet and secluded yet within walking distance to downtown Port Jefferson. The sunset view was amazing from the rear deck area.

Great location, cute, charming house

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was ready when we arrived and had most of the things we needed for our stay. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for our family when they can to say hi. We will definitely be back again!

Wonderful cozy cottage

Great place to unwind and reconnect with our group of friends. The neighborhood is quiet and Port Jeff is charming. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor spaces for relaxing evenings. The kitchen was adequate for cooking and the beds were comfortable for all six in our group. The hosts were very accommodating and we appreciated this quaint cottage.

Great stay for Stony Brook Graduation

We were looking for a place to share with family while attending our daughter’s medical school convocation. Jennifer and Keith’s place is perfect! We could walk down the path to the middle of Port Jeff, and had plenty of room to spread out in the house. Outdoor space is also a plus. The stairs are steep and narrow, but with bedrooms on both floors it was fine for our aging parents to stay downstairs while we went up. We all had comfortable accommodations, and the kitchen had everything we needed too. Highly recommend!

Relaxing

We were impressed with the old home and modern feel! Loved how the host made us feel welcomed! Just the little touchs like fresh flowers from the garden, donuts and milk for our enjoyment. We thought it was a great layout for us, I had one room and my friend had her own room on the otherside of the house, which gave us privacy, but yet we had the common areas. Quite safe neighborhood, saw a bearded wild turkey, birds frolicking and great refreshing walks in the morning! Would return!!!

Endless enjoyment on the Hilltop

Tranquil, peaceful and pure happiness on the hilltop. From the moment we arrived, the relaxation began. This house is the perfect fit for our family and Keith’s hospitality made us feel welcome and comfortable. With an inviting space complete with cozy bedrooms, a beautiful living room with fireplace and all the amenities of your home away from home (and even more!) We enjoyed walking and hiking around the area, seeing the beautiful deer graze in the yard as the sun rose and enjoyed the peace and quiet for our family retreat. Just down the road, you can enjoy a variety of activities and delicious restaurants to indulge in. Keith helped us find the best places to enjoy the local fare and there were so many options. There is something for everyone and we cannot wait to come back and visit the perfect red house on the hilltop again.

Cozy accommodations

Hilltop Harborview is a cosy place to stay when in Port Jefferson. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. So I would say the accommodations are nice. However the listing is confusing. It listed as a 3 bedroom 3 bathroom and there were only 2 bathrooms and one had no shower only a tub that we were told not to use. So it was a 1 1/2 bath. We were in the area to attend a family wedding and made the bathroom situation work for the 4 of us trying to get ready, but that may be an issue if you have more in your party I left a message for the owner to question where the 3rd bathroom was and they never returned the call. When we were leaving at checkout there was a woman in a car in the driveway on her cell and didn’t even make contact with us. That left me with an unwelcomed feeling.
