Translating to the 'Blue Pearl' in Portuguese, it's easy to see why this home gets its name - not only for its pleasing ocean-hued exterior but for its ideal ocean-view location and in-home amenities as well. You'll find public beach access just one block from your front door, which also serves as the designated release point for Bealey Turtle Rescue. The home is also right next to Nelva R. Albury Park, offering a great place for families traveling with young children.

Along with ocean views from the front deck, you'll also enjoy a breezy outdoor area beneath the home complete with patio seating and an outdoor shower. A level 2 electric vehicle charging station is also equipped for added convenience.

The sunny interior features inviting, coastal-chic decor and all the modern comforts of home. A full suite of stainless steel kitchen appliances is equipped to handle family-style meal prep with ease. New sofas and a smart TV are ready to welcome casual downtime and movie night entertainment. Modern home essentials include central air-conditioning, free WiFi, and a private washer/dryer.

House not cleaned

We arrived to a house that has not been cleaned. There was poor communication as to when it would be cleaned. We had to get hotel rooms to stay in until the next day when it got cleaned. We were told by one person that they don’t do the cleaning on weekends. so why book my stay to begin on the weekend? Otherwise, the house was in a good location. The house layout was great – very spacious. Comfortable beds.

Location is great, but the property is rundown. Definitely in need of of some TLC. Doors dont sit flush in jams, master bath is in desperate need of updating. Stored dry food in cabinets only to find it all covered in ants a few hours later. Trash cans outside were completely full when we got there. Overall just barely Ok.

Neat and Clean, your description stated that TV's were in the bedrooms. TV only in living room and bunk bed room. Lamp in living room not working turn on switch is broken.Otherwise all is well, thanks.

Lovely off season stay steps from the beach

We enjoyed the location of the rental on Topsail Island. We loved waking up to the ocean view and having coffee on the deck. And we could easily drive over the bridge for lots of dining and shopping options. The unit itself was very spacious. One item that could be updated in the listing is the bedroom photos - there is a bedroom with 4 bunks, a bedroom with a murphy bed, and the master bedroom. Note the master bath has a clawfoot tub so we ended up using the main bathroom shower instead. Also note there are no beach chairs or umbrella - we flew in so we were unable to bring with us. Would be great if rental included some beach items. Overall a lovely stay at the beach!

Loved my stay

Amazing location

This home had a wonderful, fantastic location. It was right next to the beach access and great for a beach going family. The home was super clean and it was utilities that were fantastic. The kitchen was well stocked, which helped our family a lot, and i love the touches of travel size, soaps, and shampoos for the justin case. The beds are comfortable, the seating in the living room wasn't great because there wasn’t a lot, but overall would stay here again. Looking forward to booking in the future.

Cockroaches, zero response from property manger but location is amazing

Pros: Amazing location! It’s about an 2-minute walk to the public beach access. The beach itself was beautiful and we lucked out with amazing weather. There are incredible views from the deck, living room, and bedrooms. The views are the best part of this house! The layout of the house was well-suited for our group and we used the playground behind the house. There was a drip Cons: The worst part of our stay was the lack or responsiveness when we discovered an infestation of cockroaches. We reported the cockroaches early Sun morning (including photos) and spent all day texting with the property management company asking for an update on when somebody would be out to help. We were continually told there were work tickets entered and the local team would be in touch soon. Sunday came and went. Monday we got a call from the local team to let us know that pest control would be out Tuesday. Unfortunately we were only staying until Wednesday so while we wished somebody would’ve taken our concerns more seriously, at least we knew somebody would be out at some point. However, Tuesday came and went and pest control never came. We were continually texting the property management company asking for help and wondering when somebody would be out. The managers just said there were open tickets for the local team. They said they could not give me contact information for the local team. We checked out Wednesday never having received an update or help of any sort. So disappointing.

Great little house

Our family of 8, with kids ages ranging from 9-25, loved our stay here. The rooms were comfortable and decorated so cute. The kitchen was adequately stocked. The walk to the beach was so easy and short. We had some minor issues with the door and the garbage while we were there,and those were addressed quickly. The back walk was a little overgrown, but it didn’t stop us from using it to get to/from the beach access.

Beautiful views

The location is perfect. Public beach access right in the back yard. House was clean and nice. Could use a few repairs but all in all a great house. Perfect for families.

So close to beach access

You can see the waves from the porch and through almost every window in the house. Super short walk to beach access. Plenty of space! We will be back!

Great time, great views to ocean!!!

house was very comfortable, clean and equipped , You could lay on couch and hear the ocean, so wonderful. Only 1 block to ocean, very convenient. thanks so much , hoping to do this again next year,.
