Pros….location was great!!! It was perfect walking distance to lots of shops, restaurants and entertainment. The west side of the main area of Gulf Shores is perfect. Cute little eatery and breakfast place across the street from condo. We had 3 teenagers and it was great area for them to walk around during day and early evening. Easy drive to foley and Orange Beach. Beach chair service was great and easy to reserve. Pools looked nice but never used. Balcony has street and ocean view that was nice for morning coffee (FYI, sun rises facing the balcony so have a hat or glasses ready!)Con’s….dirty and dated. I vacuumed and mopped floors due to them not being cleaned properly upon our arrival. The host was made aware and were quick to help with any resolution which was nice compared to other places we’ve rented. The place overall needs a fresh coat of paint, new chairs and new dishwaher and dryer (dryer door broken so won’t stay latched during cycle). We rented e-bikes which was great for our kids to tour the town and nature reserve. Overall the condo was

Nice

Check in process was easy. Also liked the location we could walk places to eat and shop! Didn’t really get to enjoy our balcony as much as we would have liked the unit next to us or below us was smoking weed and the strong smell was coming onto our balcony which of coarse is out of the condo owners control no fault to Island Winds West just would have liked to enjoy the balcony more!
