Serene mountaintop getaway close to all Paradise Valley has to offer!

I am an Arizona native have lived in the Paradise Valley/Scottsdale area my whole life. My husband is an "honorary native" having moved here from Minnesota when he was a little kid. We love this town! My husband and I have been married for 38 years, and we have two married daughters and four grandchildren. We feel so grateful that they all live in the Phoenix area as well so we get to enjoy them often.

My wonderful dad, also an Arizona native, was a general contractor. He always dreamed of living on a mountainside and in 2009, that dream became a reality. He hauled out 80 dump trucks full of dirt to create the pad out of the steep mountainside (no blasting allowed!) and first built and lived in the detached guest house while he built the main house. The whole process took 4 years and when you see it you will understand why! It is quite a feet of engineering as he preserved giant boulders and the mountainside. It has an amazing view of the entire north Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Cave Creek area. It was his favorite place on earth and now it is our favorite place too. We are excited to share it with you!

Watching the colors in the amazing Arizona sunset while sitting on the patio overlooking the city is an unparalleled experience. The mountainside is quiet and peaceful but full of activity as we often hear coyotes howling, see hot air balloons making their morning flights, watch storms rolling in and enjoy fireworks displays from all over the valley. The 1400 square foot private guest house is fully appointed with all you would need for your stay from dishes and cookware to soft comfy bathrobes. The home has roomy closets, instant hot water in the showers and sinks, a comfortable living area, smart TV etc. We will even start you off with your favorite foods and drinks. We are 5-10 minutes from freeways to get you where you want to go and within 15-20 minutes of Sky Harbor airport. We hope you will come and stay and enjoy all Paradise Valley has to offer!
