The Bolero; a luxury Arizona estate on 1.25 acres. With breathtaking mountain views and a private pool, have fun with the whole family! Perfectly located for outdoor adventures at local lakes and hiking trails, as well as relaxing by the pool, and entertaining loved ones!
Our grand yet inviting entrance way leads you into a bright, modern open plan kitchen, dining and living area, complete with wet bar, smart TV and comfortable theater style couches, perfect for the whole family!
This open plan space provides direct access to the backyard with BBQ bar, fire pit and pool area, for seamless indoor/outdoor entertaining!
Our ground floor also hosts one large King Bedroom, a half bath and bonus room.
The grand staircase opens out into a multifunctional loft space, with additional sleeping options. Beyond that lies two additional King Bedrooms, and a beautiful Master Suite.
The Master suite includes a King bed, smart TV, walk-in closet, private balcony with mountain views, full master bath with double sinks, shower and jacuzzi tub.
Our 3 car garage and ample yard space makes this a great place for large families, and groups of all ages!

*Pool heating is $50/day (recommended for winter months) and will be set to 80 degrees. This additional heating fee is automatically added to every booking. If you are not in need of pool heating, we are happy to send you a custom booking with heating fees removed. For stays longer than a week, please inquire. Pool heating requests must be made a minimum of 72 hours in advance to your check-in date.

We ask that you and your fellow guests respect our home, and abide by the following:
--Please respect our neighbors privacy, and remain respectful of the surrounding areas of our home.
--Please refrain from going outside the eastern rear fence as the area is unimproved and uninsured.
--Guests must follow instructions and safety guidelines when using the pool, BBQ and fire pit.
--Parties and events are allowed, but are not to exceed the number of guests allowed on the property (10). Host reserves the right to charge a $2,000 penalty fee, if this rule is broken. Additional guests (beyond the number permitted) will be charged a penalty fee of $100 per guest, per night.
--Additional cleaning fees will be charged if any additional cleaning time is required in order to get the property back to its original standard.

GUEST ACCESS
All amenities listed are yours to enjoy!
Our property insurance allows guests to stay near the house and on roadways. Please do not venture outside improved areas near the home. Watch for thorns, bugs, and snakes when outdoors in AZ.
We provide keypad access to the property, you will receive an entry code before check in. We also have keypad access to the pool area from the back deck, and when accessing from the side gates.
ADDITIONAL BEDDING FOR 3
Additional bedding is available for the three futon beds.
CHILDREN’S ACCESSORIES
If traveling with small children under two, we have a highchair, a baby gate for the stairs (please read instructions carefully - we are not responsible for improper installation), and a pack and play available for use to make your stay more convenient and stress-free.

オーナー : Kirsten Johnson
Greg and Kirsten met in a design class at George Fox University many years ago. Some time later they reunited in a ceramics class where Greg realized he would love to marry this beautiful artistic girl. Thankfully, after graduating, Greg’s dream came true and he married Kirsten. Kirsten taught preschool while Greg pursued a masters to later teach high school ceramics. In 2012 they started looking for a house that they could afford on a teacher's salary.
They began their property journey together in their native state of Oregon, where they bought 11 undeveloped acres armed with a weed whacker, Youtube, and a willingness to do whatever necessary. The "12 months of building" actually took 36...but they never gave up and created their first home together, and welcomed baby Lucy.
Since moving to Arizona, Greg and Kirsten have continued to develop homes they love into unique destinations that offer guests relaxing and memorable experiences, with the people they hold dearest. Greg has stepped away from teaching following the advice he gave his students to step into your gifts and dreams.

As artists, both Greg and Kirsten wanted this house to reflect a geometric southwest with contemporary minimalism. It was the understated luxury of its wide open space, grand features and bold geometric lines that first attracted them to this house. They immediately saw potential and began rehabilitating, a full landscape, and setup. WIth the aim to create a space that balances aesthetic and function.
Outside the house, the focus was to contrast the desert landscape by adding green space emphasizing the pool adding modern comforts. We've hoped to create a multipurpose outdoor space with relaxation and having fun in mind! We wanted to create space for you to connect, slow down, and make memories with those you love.
We want this property to be a place that heals and recharges you. Life is very difficult, stressful, and humans can be hard to deal with. We hope you can feel the peace we have prayed over this land and home. We hope you leave feeling closer to who you are, more centered, and more alive.

Most of our visitors comment on the calming and centering effects of this stunning landscape. Our house sits overlooking the Superstition and Silly Mountains with hiking trails minutes from our doorstep. Bolero is a great place to gain perspective, reconnect with yourself and nature. Often visited by jack rabbits, qual, and other animals that make these lands their home, so please take care.
