With a nod to its historic roots, we sought to maintain various elements of the original structure, while modernizing other features. This 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath is a beautiful home for a family or a group of friends!

My son’s wedding weekend

This house is absolutely gorgeous! The spacious 4 rooms on the first floor allowed us to spread out but also enjoy each other comfortably! The bedrooms, especially the master, were large with extra space! The house was also very clean and full if the essentials! We were in town for tge wedding and it added to our special weekend. Highly recommended!!

Daughter's Wedding in Dayton

Came to town for our daughter's wedding. The house was perfect for everything from a down time place to chill to the place were we could steam dresses, prepare desserts, and walk to after partying a little too hard at the reception. The house is gorgeous, huge bedrooms, and has all the essentials. The bride loved the huge soaker tub to relax the night before. Would highly recommend this house and hostess

Charming home; note and document all issues before settling in!

Charming and beautiful home. Home’s current condition is to be expected due to the age of the home; watch for wavy floors and document everything on your arrival. Upstairs hallway floor is slanted and the staircase railing has pulled up due to the floor settling. The stair railing was one of the first items my husband noticed and he mentioned how unsafe this would be for families with small children. Unfortunately, a week after our departure we received a bill for the pulledUp railings we found upon our arrival. We paid the invoice (just charged our Visa again for same repair which we will dispute). For future guest, I highly recommend you repair the second floor slanted hallway to insure the railings are repaired properly for future guests. My husband is a licensed contractor so if in fact we damage anything; he would have promptly repaired it to avoid this headache. Property manager has turned our holiday stay into a new year hassle. Other housekeeping notes: Upon arrival - we noticed unlocked windows and basement door was open. The middle bedroom looked as someone had slept in the bed and left in a hurry. The lack of clean towels and absence of wash clothes was not expected. The towels were located in the washer once we were given permission to use the washer and dryer in the basement. The pictures show a washer and dryer in the TV room but it was broken. All these inconveniences were minor and overlooked so we could enjoy the holidays.

Hip location with fire pit and s’mores

This property was conveniently located to the venues we were using the weekend of our stay. It is dog friendly with a fenced backyard. The host left wood and s’mores kits for us to use the fire pit. I would definitely book this home again.

Week Stay in Dayton

Very comfortable and lovely stay in this well-maintained and well-appointed home in a beautiful, historic district. House managers were VERY on top of every detail, communicative and helpful during our stay. Loved the small attention to details that made our stay calm and easy - e.g. blackout curtains; a full and well stocked kitchen (e.g. spices, oils), laundry detergent, good coffee, etc. Loved that you could 'shop the home' as well - furniture and decor avail to buy! Home was a rare find among all the options to stay in Dayton - we highly recommend!

An enjoyable, walkable stay

This home in Dayton was spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed. The neighborhood had a little park nearby and plenty of delicious restaurants in easy walking distance. Couldn't have asked for a better stay :)

Fantastic Location, Beautiful Decor.

The place is pretty great! 3 Bedrooms & 2 Bathrooms upstairs, a half bathroom downstairs with an open concept Kitchen + Dining Room + Living Room + Media Room downstairs, with a little backyard fire pit outside. Perfect for smores, bring firewood, marshmallows, chocolate, and graham crackers!

Wonderfully ecclectic

We loved our stay. Both my wife and I love old homes and this was near the top of the list with very modern amenities that still retain the character of the old home. The furniture was wonderful and comfortable. The floors had some "wave" that is typical for old homes and the water pressure was a little low (also common for old homes) but those just added to the charm in our opinion. This is an urban environment so expect road noise late into the evening. There is a fenced yard and this is a pet friendly property (we did not take advantage of this but as veterinarians loved this). It is within walking distance of shops and restaurants and an easy drive to Wright Patterson Air Force Base (we were there to visit our son). The host was very helpful. We will definitely consider another stay if we get back to Dayton.

Fantastic Experience!

This was our first VRBO stay ever and the bar has been set high with this home! There was easy on-street parking and we enjoyed the keypad access. The location is perfect with bars/ restaurants and shops within a moment’s walk. The house is beautifully decorated and well stocked with everything needed for a stay away from home. (The coffee bar was a great hit with our family.) We were so impressed with this home and our thoughtful hosts. We will definitely return!

Amazing!

The house and location were perfect! Everything I wanted and needed was included or close by. We were there a little over a week and I felt so at home. Friends who came to visit were also so impressed with the home and decor. Host was super helpful, although we didn't need to reach out much as the house was set up perfectly. Thanks so much!

Great home and location

We had a group in town for the weekend for an event and this house was perfect. The house was very nice, clean and well-appointed for our stay. The locator was an easy walk to restaurants and our event venue. The manager was very responsive and helpful with any questions throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again when we are in town.

I absolutely adored staying at this house!

I absolutely adored staying at this house. I literally have no complaints. The host is incredibly nice, the decor is STUNNING, and the location is so perfect. It was nice being able to walk to dinner and then back to the house in under five minutes. Accessing the house was beyond easy. I 100% plan to rebook in the future. So worth it!
