Minutes away from the town center and local eating establishments.. Located on 5 acres adjacent to State of Michigan Paradise Pathway Cross County Ski Trails. Newly remodeled units with open concept, kitchen and living area. Great bathroom with a tub and cozy bedroom with sliding glass door leading to the wooded outdoors. Two electric fireplace to add warmth during the cold months. Circle drive with ample parking for large vehicles.

Enjoy short trips to Tahquamenon Falls (10 miles), Whitefish Point (8 miles), and Vermilion Point Nature Preserve (13 miles) with many hiking and exploring opportunities. Can enjoy day trips to Crisp Point Lighthouse (28 miles), Ste. Marie (61 miles) to see the Soo Locks, or to the Pictured Rocks in Munising (103 miles). The beauty of the UP is endless!

We truly enjoyed our time at the Black Pearl. The space is comfortable & stylish. The extra touches were lovely (even the scents of the hand soaps & reed diffuser were to our taste!) & we felt right at home. It’s well equipped overall. Highly recommend!

Great location and clean

Located conveniently close to the falls. The room was large and very clean. From the first seconds my wife and I stepped into it we immediately stated we would stay there again no question. The property offered everything we would need and two smart TV’s with decent internet

A Great place to stay!

This place was perfect for our needs! Its very clean, modern, up to date. The hosts are very responsive and kind in answering any questions! Would love to stay here again if I'm in the area. Its by the main road but also very quiet and quaint. There was a propane grill in the back and a fire pit. Super nice!

Weekend Getaway

Property was amazing, had all the necessities we needed, a home away from home :) Property owners were very pleasant. We drove 6 hours to see the falls and definitely would come stay here again. Thank you for making our trip comfortable.

The Black Pearl

We enjoyed our stay, we were close to everything we wanted to see. The place was nice and clean and had everything we needed. We were able to cook out on the grill and have a campfire. Thank you for your hospitality!

Convenient place to explore from

Very nice property. Comfortable bed. Nice amenities. Hooks on bathroom door need fixed, but overall, was very good experience. Owner is working hard to make it work.

Base camp

We headed up to Paradise because it was close to Tahquamenon falls, an hour from Munising for kayaking Pictured Rocks, then meeting up with 1124 other mini coopers for Mini's on the Mack. Lots of fun!

Cute and quiet place

Great little place with everything you need - all new. It also has an ice machine and a dishwasher. Quiet place just outside of town (walking distance to downtown shops and food). The hosts are wonderful, quick to respond and easy to work with. Highly recommend.

Great Stay

Great place and location. Fuel and food right down the road. We stayed to snowmobile, having trail right across the street was perfect. Very clean as everything is newly done with a cool modern feel. Nice amenities including a large ice maker which I thought was a useful addition. Communication with host was great, easy check in and out. Would recommend to others and will stay again myself! Perfect spot for all seasons!

Great base for hiking and seeing Falls

Black Pearl has to be the best spot to stay in Paradise! It’s unassuming from the outside, but cozy and filled with everything you need on the inside! Fully equipped up-to-date kitchen, open to living area with comfy couch, tv, warm electric fireplace/heater and kitchen table. Separate bedroom also has an electric fireplace/heater with comfy bed. We didn’t use the backyard and fire pit, but it’s a nice addition, with wood provided. If you come to see the Falls or Whitefish Point, then this is where you need to stay! Dinner at The Inn, around the corner is a must - everything fresh from the whitefish to the amazing desserts!

Some add'l comments

Very nice place and especially for conversion from what it was (commercial use?). But another mirror or two (even a self-standing mirror or one to lean against a wall) is nice for when someone is occupying the bathroom. Also, the fridge (& ice maker) wasn't on when we arrived as the wall GFI outlet had to be reset, so it must have been tripped it previously. A picture of the couch pulled out for use as a bed would be another benefit for prospective renters.
