Large pond, ducks, frogs and lots of birds and Rabbets. Wooded area makes you feel like your 100 miles away from everyone. All new floors and paint throughout, all new appliances. Wood provided for the wonderful fireplace. 15min to the Sacramento international Airport. Room to breath and de-stress. Bring your pet. No agressive dogs allowed, shared property.

Beautiful home everything was great until the host told me she would book my stay another week and a half and then changed her mind after seeing 3 teenage girls in the property.after staying a month she gave me less then 24 hrs to leave yet said it was nothing I did wrong I paid for extra 3 days and I had less then 24 hrs to leave

The house was adorable and beautifully updated and decorated. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything you might need. The Ninja coffee maker was on point! We were glad for the security of the driveway gates, too. We absolutely would stay here again!

Time in the country

We had a great stay in this charming home. My favorite thing was walking down the country roads and seeing/hearing all the animals.

Charming

This place really did feel like staying in the French countryside. It was great being able to wander around the property and see the birds and bunnies. Very clean, warm, and inviting house. We will definitely try to stay here again next time we’re in town!

A wonderful stay a stone's throw from Sacramento

This is a fantastic property. A spacious 2 bedroom property with a dog lover's dream yard. Lovingly updated interior that retains the original property's unique charm. Tons of hiking and outdoors stuff to do within a 30 minute drive nearby. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This is a great place with lots of character. Very well updated older home. The furnishings are very nice and the fresh fruit and fresh eggs were great.The host was very accommodating and responsive. Lots of driveway space to park cars and turn around in. Perfect commuter location for the airport or downtown Sacramento.

Clean and cute house, unique property

The pictures do not do justice to this property! The home was clean, comfortable and spacious. The property was wonderfully suited for letting our dog chase the ball in the fenced yard and we got to visit the resident bunnies, turkeys, and kitten. The owner was quick to respond to messages and left us a lovely basket of fruit and eggs.

Adorable and comfy home. Water was hot and beds were super comfy! Unfortunately, we stayed during a storm so we were unable to fully enjoy the property. Our dogs would have loved the large fenced yard during better weather conditions. Although close to a highly trafficked road, the host made it possible to enter/exit safely through an alternate route. We really appreciated that! Inside the home, it never felt like there was heavy holiday traffic outside. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to spend Christmas together in a mutually convenient location. The highlight was the laughter after a tree limb crashed in the yard and narrowly missed the bbq. Overall, a wonderful experience at this location.

Wonderful!!!!

I only have great things to say about this lovely home. Clean, full kitchen with all the dishes we needed. I was even able to bake a cake to celebrate the college graduation we attended! The host, Maria, is kind and thoughtful. She brought us fresh, delicious fruit and snacks, even brought treats for the dog. The property is lovely.

This is a phenomenal getaway and an amazing deal! The house is absolutely stunning, with new appliances and furniture, situated in a large fenced yard. Maria is the most generous host I've ever met (she even brought us farm fresh eggs and apples from her tree!) Our dog loved playing in the yard, and there were even snacks for him and for us on arrival. The hosts were also super responsive to any questions or concerns we had, but were also extremely considerate of our space when they needed to come to the property to water plants. Unbelievably thoughtful host, beautiful home and an A vacation experience. We'll definitely be back, and I encourage you to do the same!

Country Cuteness

We enjoyed our stay in Rio Linda at the little farmhouse. Everything was clean and fresh smelling - no musty or stale odors. The location was great (minutes from the Futures swim meet @ the aquatic center), the kitchen was ample, the grounds neat and the ice-maker in the fridge was a plus. The beds were super awesome - so comfortable. The host, Maria, was quite friendly, quick to respond to any questions we had and gifted us with fresh fruits and tasty snacks for our arrival... the figs were delicious. We felt comfortable (great air conditioning) and safe during our stay. We will choose her place again the next time we are in Sacramento. This was an excellent stay for us. Thank you again Maria. :)
