Important before booking: the elevator at Bridgeport is currently out of service following storm damage. Stairs are required to reach the unit.

Gulf views from virtually every room. Two lanais — a screened lanai off the bedroom for morning quiet, and an open lanai facing the beach for the evenings. The heated pool is available for all guests in the building. Beach chairs and umbrellas are provided so you arrive at the water ready to go.

Both bedrooms have king beds — a rare configuration for a 2BR condo where one room usually gets the short end. The master and the guest room sleep the same way, which matters when you're traveling with another couple or two guests who both want a proper bed. The unit sleeps four total. Two full bathrooms keep the mornings manageable.

The kitchen is fully equipped for meals at home. A full-size washer and dryer in the unit handles the week's beach clothes without a laundromat run. High-speed WiFi and flat-screen TVs in the living room and both bedrooms cover the evenings.

The electric fireplace in the living room is a genuine comfort on the cooler winter nights that AMI gets more often than people expect.

The beach is steps away. The free Anna Maria Island trolley stops nearby for exploring the full length of the island without moving your car.

Bridgeport Condo 101 requires a one-week minimum stay with parking for two cars. Not pet-friendly.

ELEVATOR IS OUT OF SERVICE AT THIS TIME DUE TO OUR PAST STORMS.

The daily sunsets and being able to see the gulf from every room was amazing. The lanai is spacious and the view is spectacular. We loved being able to walk across the street to the beach. It was also nice to be so close to the Bridge Street bars and restaurants. The condo sits right next to Cortez and it is convenient if you need to leave the island. We could also walk over the bridge to a few restaurants. We also went into Sarasota, St Armands Circle and visit restaurants on Long Boat Key. This condo is in a great location.The main room furniture and blinds need to be updated. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was adequate. There is great closet space and the owners leave plenty of storage space for their guests. We would rent again if the main room furniture was updated.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property is obviously in a great location; however, my recommendation is that it needs a real overall. It lacked many basic items (soap, Detergent, paper towels, trash bags) and it shows rather cluttered and a bit dirty. Several of the lights were burned out and we had to buy light bulbs. There is also an overabundance of very old Knick knacks that clutter the rooms - better off to just remove all of them. The property management company did a really good job and were responsive. The Garbage disposal didn't work upon entry and therefore the dishwasher had standing water in it when I arrived, but they were responsive to fix that. The property simply needs a makeover and a deep cleaning - having 4 different kinds of cup, glasses, dishes, forks and knives makes it look like it was stocked by Goodwill. I wouldn't stay here again.

Excellent location

We were very happy with the rental, excellent location! I cleaned the rental before we unpacked because that’s what I do, and cleaned thoroughly before we left so I was a little upset that we had been accused of smoking in the unit… there was no way that I would have allowed that seeing that even though I am a smoker, I don’t allow smoking in my own home.. so needless to say I was offended and a little upset that the accusation was made.

The Condo had unforeseen issues so Island Rentals scrambled to find us a new place and this was it. The unit was nice and beautifully situated which made getting to the beach a sinch. The neighbors at this condo were super friendly and helpful which was perfect as I could not figure out where to dump the trash as I did not expect a trash shoot to be so conveniently placed. The Condo furniture was comfortable and we found the amenities about what we expected.

Great place, Great location

This was our 4th year going to Anna Maria, and we've stayed in the same general area each time. I should downplay this location to cut down on the competition for Spring Break week from Michigan, but I can't. This is a very nice, very well kept unit, in a great facility. The pool area is nicely sheltered for those days when it's too windy on the beach. (Those places that advertise a pool right on the beach, remember: If it's too windy on the beach, it'll be too nasty at the pool also.) It is a bit noisy with traffic, being right at the Cortez Bridge. But the location is excellent to walk to Bridge St, and many of the restaurants, shops, and bars. I don't feel the noise level from an occasional motorcycle or truck is a hugh issue. The unit itself is well layed out and nicely furnished. The kitchen has pretty much everything you need, with several choices in coffee pots- Kuereg, & Mister Coffee type. I would definitely rent this again, and would recommend to friends.
