Owner Double booked Property

I was to arrive on 3/21, on 3/19 I was asked to complete my pre registration. On 3/20 I completed and paid for my reservation. I never received checkin information. I contacted Vrbo and was put in touch with the owner. The contact could not provide me with checkin information and subsequently claimed I didn’t complete their info and the unit was no longer available. Hey completely doubled booked and left me with no place to stay. It costs me Almost triple to get accommodations last minute. Seriously question whether to ever use Vrbo again.

William, thank you for sharing your experience. We'd like to clarify that there was no double booking. Your reservation was canceled due to non-payment, as communicated. Despite this, you decided to pay past the payment time, and, as a courtesy, we issued a full refund since the property was no longer available.
