Perfect Getaway!!!

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! The deck was great for relaxing, and the split AC unit was definitely an added bonus for those few days that were way too hot at the beginning of our stay. Secluded location but still close enough to the supermarket, restaurants, etc. Looking forward to coming back next year!

Better than we hoped!

It was just what the doctor ordered! Quiet little house on the water, beautiful view from almost anywhere in the house. Great little deck for morning coffee or lobster and cocktails in the evening. Even has its own dock with kayaks to explore!

Bright, clean, and comfortable cottage

This oceanfront cottage was perfect for our family of four for five nights. We rent in Harpswell every summer, and were pleasantly surprised at how new and clean everything was, including the bedding and beds which were incredibly comfortable. The dock is great and we really appreciated the use of kayaks and paddle boards. The only one thing that would have helped is a dock ladder, as our family loves to swim in Quahog Bay but we managed to get back on the dock with the help of the paddle board. Jane and her husband were super responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

Sweet cottage

This little cottage had everything we needed, and Jane was very easy to communicate with. The view was amazing, and we loved being able to sit on the dock in the late afternoons watching the lobsterman work. While small, the cottage was comfortable, with a beautiful deck. The king size bed was a dream! Just for awareness, lobstermen apparently work at all hours, so there were nights when there was the noise of the boats very late (or very very early, lol!). But still wonderful.

Super Peaceful Coastal Maine get-a-way!

We totally enjoyed our extended stay at Cedar Cottage. Very zen mornings drinking coffee or having dinner on the deck over looking the dock. Great communication with the owner, Jane, who looked after whatever we needed. Loved the sound of the lobster boats going out (5 AM) and coming back in in the afternoon. The house is next to a commercial lobster business so there is always some activity next door. The AC in the living room was very helpful, given the hot days of July Maine was experiencing. Grandkids spent a week out of 3 weeks with us and the house space and set up was perfect. The cottage served as a very convenient base to be able to experience all the great assets that Harpswell has to offer, be it hiking the various preserves, beaches, lobster shacks and other. We would definitely consider renting this cottage again.
