This House is a Hidden Gem!

We had a wonderful stay in North Conway New Hampshire. This house is a gem literally located at the bottom of Cathedral Ledge. When we first arrived we were a little disappointed at the cleanliness of the house as quite a few things were overlooked by the cleaning people. The stove had a thick coat of grease all over it as did a lot of dishes that were put away like that. The coffee pot didn’t look like it had ever been wiped down, the dishwasher was full of dishes, and the bathroom sinks weren’t very clean and the shower still had whiskers in it. Once we were there a day or so we were able to clean things up a little bit to our liking and had a very enjoyable stay. This house is the perfect location as it is close to the ledge and close to Diana‘s Baths and many great shops and restaurants. The Saco River is right there too! On a scale from 1 to 10 I would rate my stay an 8 and that is only because the water pressure in the showers was absolutely terrible…other than that with all the things going on in the area we had a great time!

Location, location, location...

The location for us was the most important factor. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood next to trails to walk to Echo Lake or White Horse Ledge. Both very enjoyable. Also Diana's Bath is just a mile up the road. Then just a very quick trip to our favorite restaurants: Delaney's and May Kelly's Cottage. If you like puzzles, go to the White Mountain puzzle store about 15 minutes up the road and visit Jackson Falls while you're there. Unbelievable beautiful. This is our second stay and we will probably be there again in the foreseeable future :)

Cathedral Ledge

This home was literally at the base of Cathedral Ledge. It was clean, well stocked with pots,pans,pillows,blankets,cleaning supplies. We had an amazing stay, Ideally located near Diana's Bath, Cathedral Ledge, Saco River, and many more great hiking spots....it was a quick ride into North Conway,restaurants, shops, and outlets. You felt like you were staying deep in the woods, but it's less than a 10 minute drive to town. I will stay here again! We had a fantastic week.

Best stay

Property is located in an amazing location, where everything is very close by (within 10 to 15 mins reach by car). Property ia very well kept and situated in a quite neighborhood. Highly recommend this place and will surely return back if an opportunity araise.

Fun Family Adventure

This is our second time renting the Costa residence. This time was as great as the first. It is a well provisioned house. Very spacious. Anything we needed, was there. Almost as good as being in my own kitchen. The only thing we missed was the scrabble game. May bring one next time to leave for future renters. Thank you Costa family for sharing your home.

From making the reservation to arriving at the property everything was smooth— as anyone would want, especially on a vacation! Conversations with the rental agency were friendly and informative.The property itself is wonderful for families. Our two families found the layout to be conducive to privacy at bedtime with bedrooms an a bathroom on both floors and a nice open area to socialize. The dining area was great for playing games as well as eating. The living room was comfy and well appointed with couches and seating.The setting was in a quiet rural type neighborhood, yet close to wonderful restaurants, shopping, events and hiking trails. We were totally satisfied and happy with our experience. We definitely will be returning!

The house was clean and nicely supplied and equipped. We took several hikes to echo lake and to White Horse Ledge as well as going up to Cathedral Ledge about 4 times during our stay. Also, the beautiful town of North Conway with all its wonderful small shops and restaurant are literally minutes away.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Costa house is nice, but it appears to be a bit neglected. For starters, it's obvious the photo was taken a long time ago since the stain is pretty much worn off the house. The back deck also is seriously worn to the point that one board is broken near the grill. Speaking of the grill, it needs to be cleaned. The first time I tried to cook, layers of hamburger grease burst into flame. It took near 30 minutes to burn it off. Only other complaint was that the house has a woodstove, but no wood. There's a lot of wood in the basement with a "hands off" sign on it. That's just wrong. Overall, the house is nice. Nice location.

Great family Vacation home

This placed is conveniently located outside of North Conway. We used this home as a base to explore the many amenities of the Mt Washington Valley area. It was a short drive to North Conway and all the restaurants and shops. We took advantage of the hiking trails at the end of the road and loved looking up to Cathedral Ledge above. We were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the home. The kitchen was well appointed with dishes, utensils and cooking ware. The owners take very good care of this building and we were very happy to have stayed here for our family vacation.

Very comfortable house, with all the amenities, near all.

The house was very comfortable. Easily accommodates 10 people. All the amenities including WI-FI. Driveway can accommodate 4 vehicles. Perfect location in the White Mountains. Short drive to the Kancamagus with all the hiking opportunities (we had a memorable hike up Mt Chocorua), Diana's Baths, Echo Lake. Short drive to Arethusa Falls where we had another memorable hike. Many other hiking opportunities too numerous to mention. One minor issue that we had was handled promptly and professionally by Courtney and Steve of Select Real Estate. No complaints at all. I recommend this house and Select Real Estate.
