Nestled in the heart of Gulfport, The Sand Dollar is a bright and peaceful bungalow offering a relaxing retreat. Ideally located between Gulfport and downtown St. Petersburg, you'll enjoy the best of both worlds—peaceful surroundings with easy access to local attractions.

The spacious and inviting interior is complemented by beautifully landscaped outdoor spaces, perfect for lounging or dining al fresco. The fully fenced yard and courtyard provide added privacy and comfort.

Easy Access & Parking:
The bungalow is conveniently accessed from the alley between the avenues. On-site parking is available for one vehicle, or two small/compact cars.

The Beachcomber is fantastic!! The neighborhood is quiet, the property itself is beautiful, clean, well kept, smells great, the yard is awesome for my 2 little fur babies. We couldn't ask for a better place to stay! The washing macgine and dryer was a huge plus, not to mention the most quiet a/c units around. Highly recommend. If i could give a 100 stars I would. Oh, and the host was fantastic with communication. Any question i had they answered within minutes!! Cannot wait to stay again!! Thank you!! 100/100 A

We loved it! Gulfport is a quirky art and music village and this little bungalow was perfect. Well equipped kitchen is designed around a lovely repurposed buffet island. Bath features sleek glass walk-in shower. King bed was comfy; wi-fi worked well. Artsy fun decor. An enormous banyan tree towers above the cottage. Al fresco dining and morning coffee on the large deck was a plus, watching the squirrels and listening to the bird songs, with a couple of sightings of vivid green parrots. Dozens of great eateries and pubs nearby. Live music everywhere. The host was extremely helpful; by far the best communication weʻve ever experienced.

Peaceful and Convenient!

We stayed for three nights and had a great time! The house was clean, it was tucked away off the road but they have clear insdirections for you and once you find it which didn’t take long at all itprivate, and in a great location — close to everything we needed but still nice and quiet. The fenced backyard was perfect for our dog, which made the trip even better. Would definitely stay here again!

Very Cute Bungalow

We had a great experience staying at the Sand Dollar. Great getaway for you and your spouse/partner. Loved the outside deck. The property is on the other side of Gulfport Blvd. It’s about a 15-minute walk to Beach Blvd. The hosts were very communicative. We would definitely stay again.

The Sand Dollar Bungalow

The hosts was very responsive and accommodating to our needs and requests. The house is in the older part of the community and needs some work, but I know they have plans to make some further updates. Great area! We were able to ride our bikes to downtown Gulfport which is on the bay and has cute shops and lots of great places to eat. Just a short drive to St Pete beach.

Beautiful home in a great location

My husband and I were traveling across FL with our springer spaniel. The Sand Dollar Cottage was a perfect base for us to explore St Petersburg but also enjoy the friendly community of Gulfport. Besides the great location, the house itself is great - well maintained, has all the necessities, and cute (love all the decorations!). The owners were very responsive snd helpful with the directions. Very pleasant stay overall, thank you!

A disappointing experience...

First impression: The unit is located in an alley with adjacent properties in disrepair. Upon entering the apartment, the temperature was in the 50's and there was no heat! When we spoke to the host, he confirmed that heat was not a listed "amenity" and informed us we should have read the listing more carefully. Two small ceramic space heaters were provided-completely inadequate for the space. We ran them continuously and stayed cold all week. We ended up at a hotel the first night due to the cold. No hot tub...as advertised. The host was unwilling to work with us resulting in many hours spent on the phone with VRBO. A disappointing stay in Gulfport.

Great spot

Great place and just as pictured. The location is perfect and accessible to many fun things to do. The hosts are great. They are very accommodating, communicative but are also very laid back at the same time. The yard is perfect and wonderful for a pooch.we will be back! Thank you.

The Sand Dollar

We had a very enjoyable stay. The house was cozy and private, and the neighborhood was quiet. We could walk to Gulfport's waterfront and to Tomlinson Park and Clymer Park which were very convenient since we also had our dog with us. We were just a short drive from both the beaches and downtown St. Petersburg. Joseph was always quick to respond and very accommodating.

Wonderfully thought out place in Gulfport!

I found it to be very well maintained and within great walking distance of the main street in Gulfport. Everything I needed was there. The host was excellent in communication.

Our short stay was great! The home was the perfect size for two people! I had a couple questions and the owner was awesome at answering my questions fast and accurately! Loved the privacy with the fences in the front and back yard. Overall a great experience!

Great location

Quaint little house located in a quiet neighborhood just a couple of blocks away from bay-side restaurants, shops, art culture, bars, and a fishing pier. Everything else you came here to see is also only a few minutes away.The house is an older one bedroom flat, which has been tastefully restored.The home is surrounded by mature trees and is gated on two sides for your pets to roam free and for you to enjoy nature on the deck of an outdoor sitting area. If clean, quiet, pet friendly, and close to everything is your thing, this is the place for you. Great value for what you get.
