Great apartment in family friendly neighborhood, close to the beach and shopping. There is a metro stop within two blocks of the apartment to get to all of the sites. Walking to the touristic areas of the gothic quarter and Eixample are a bit of a distance. Many restaurants right outside the door of the building. Great setup for two couples as there is a bedroom and bathroom in one wing and two bedrooms and a bathroom in another, both with a door to shut off from the common areas. One of our friends was in a wheelchair and was easily able to navigate within the apartment and bathroom. Tony was very good to communicate with.

Perfect location and space

Our family really enjoyed our stay! This is a perfect location close to great restaurants, public transportation, etc. We felt completely safe and loved the area. Everyone we met was so kind and communication with our host was easy. A overall.

Luxury Stay in the Heart of Barcelona – Perfect for Families!

Our stay at this Barcelona flat felt like being in a luxury hotel. Every detail was thoughtfully curated — stylish, well-appointed, and incredibly comfortable. It was absolutely perfect for our family, with plenty of space and all the amenities we could need. The location couldn’t have been better — close to everything yet peaceful and relaxing. Amazing time in Barcelona

Our stay was amazing. The property was exactly as advertised and recently updated. We were extremely happy with everything including the location. The street was lovely and we were happy it wasn't closer to the busy areas but still walkable by adults to the tourist areas and the ocean.Victor was great to communicate with prior to arriving and very helpful answering my questions. Tony met us on site when we arrived. The check in process was very simple. We also did a tour with Tony to Montserrat and a small village near the ocean afterwards for lunch. The trip was amazing, and Tony did a great job of showing us all the highlights and beating the crowds. Overall a 10 out of 10 for Tony as well.Tony and Victor exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend this VRBO.

Awesome Property and Hosts!

This is an awesome property in the Rambla district. The property was well appointed and recently updated. There are numerous restaurants and shops within a few minutes walk as well as access to public transportation. Victor Miguel and Tony are fantastic hosts. Tony, especially, was phenomenal and gladly assisted us when asked. Tony also provides walking tours of Barcelona which I highly recommend. Victor Miguel organized transportation on our arrival and departure days which greatly simplified our arrival and departure in Barcelona. He also offers a great selection of wine to pre-stock upon arrival. Thank you both, Miguel and Tony, for a fantastic experience! We will be back!!

VRBO Poblenou

The apartment was exactly as it was described online. It was very clean and comfortable. There were six of us and it was perfect for us. We really enjoyed the neighborhood and the close proximity to restaurants and shopping. We all felt very relaxed and safe. Tony, the Property Manager was great. He was very knowledgeable about the area and was also a great tour guide. I would recommend this property for anyone who wants to stay in Barcelona.

Home away from home

The owners, the property, communication, location - 100%. The property lived up to its advertising and we would all stay there again 'in a heartbeat'. We stayed 2 months and felt very much part of the community, great cafes and shops and 15 min walk to the beach! A heartfelt thank you to the owners!

Pretty Good Stay

Overall, it was a good stay. The pictures and descriptions are accurate. The few issues that did pop up were fairly minor. They provided fruit and a bottle of wine. It's a pretty good apartment. It's in a safe area of town. The water pressure and temperature is amazing. They have blackout shades that block out all light for the bedrooms. The property manager that we met was decently friendly. He made himself available through phone and email. He even called me to check-in right after I landed. They also offer a few tours of their own. We already had tours booked before our arrival though. As for the minor issues, there were two. Prior to arriving, the owner did message me and ask if I would like a Nespresso machine as well as transportation to and from the airport. I responded, asked for all of the above, and confirmed the quoted prices. They never responded to my last message which was sent weeks before my arrival. They did have the Nespresso machine but didn't the transportation from the airport to the VRBO. After I spoke to the property manager in-person, they did arrange transportation to the airport for me. When I arrived, the cleaning crew was still there. They needed an extra forty minutes. It's not the hugest thing but when you just land after an international flight and it's after check-in time, you really just want to relax for a bit. Overall, a good stay!

El pobloneu lovely apartment

Our family enjoyed 4 wonderful days/nights in this spacious and well designed apartment. The large apartment has been meticulously remodeled throughout and appreciate the kind check in process by Tony having fruit, water, wine and coffee for us after our extensive journey from California. The neighborhood provides everything you need including multiple cafes, tapas bars, bakery, farmacia and grocery stores literally across the street. Very convenient to all of Barcelona with multiple public transportation options as well as a short 30 minute walk to La Sagrada familia. The complex is safe and the quiet neighborhood after 10-11 pm made it easy to get great sleep. Close enough to the gothic quarter but far enough away to provide a break from all of the tourist activity. Also a short walk/jog to the marina was appreciated to enjoy the views and get a bit of exercise. We hope to return in the future.

Perfect for families!

This apartment worked very well for a family of 6 with four older teens. The location was great - we enjoyed being a bit away from the busier central part of Barcelona. All of the sites were still accessible, but we were very close to the beach and the area itself is vibrant with a lot of restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores. The owner offered two day tours that took us outside the city. It was perfect - only slightly more expensive than similar tours we were looking at with larger groups, but much better to have a personalized experience. We learned a lot about living in Spain from our conversations with him. The apartment is newly renovated and had everything we needed. More space than other apartments we have rented in Europe which was nice for a larger family. We stayed a week and loved every minute of it!

Everything about the apartment was top notch. The neighborhood is both hip and family oriented and convenient to the beach, too many great restaurants to try and everything you might need for day-to-day life. Would stay there again in an instant and recommend it easily to friends and family.

Overall we enjoyed it, location was interesting and easy to get around with public transportation but still a little noisy at night with all the restaurants and bars. One of the bedrooms was strangely arranged and hard to move around in. But they told us they are remodeling it soon anyway. There were some gaps in communication between the owner and manager but it all worked out.

A true vacation!

We had the best time staying in this apartment! It was a perfect size for our group of 6, and everyone we dealt with was charming and knowledgeable about the area, the apartment, and so helpful with all our questions. This was the first time in years I felt I could truly relax and enjoy my time away. So much to see and do, delicious restaurants and the beach just down the street. Would book again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful apartment in a great neighborhood

We had an excellent stay in the apartment. It was a very comfortable space and even in the middle of a historic heat wave the air conditioning kept it cool. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood, to the beach and eating in the many excellent restaurants around the area. It was also a great base of operations to see the rest of Barcelona. The host was very accommodating and answered all our questions promptly. I wouldn't hesitate to return on our next trip!

More than just location- it’s the owner that makes it great!

If you want to avoid the tourist crowd and still be not far away from the center of Barcelona (10 min drive in a taxi), walking distance from the beach and where locals are hanging out- this is the place! Restaurants of all kind outside your door, safe neighborhood with local organic market and amazing coffee everywhere. This is it! BUT, that’s really doesn’t matter when you have a host that takes care of you like a family. When one of my family members just upon arrival got so sick that we needed to take her to an urgent care. I called the owner (had his WhatsApp already) and less than 15 min he was there to personally taking us to the hospital and do all the talking for us (since I have no Spanish). The care keep going on even after the discharge from the hospital and checking on us again and again- to make sure we are all doing well. The last thing I can recommend is to hire the full day guided tours offer to you by the host. The personal self tailored experience to our needs with the driving service from location to location made all the difference for us. We managed to visit so much outside the city that we would ever have dreamed of. This is one location I will come back again and again and again!

The apartment was suppose to have been serviced while we were there: 1-electrical dangerously poor -electric sockets are loose, bulbs are not working 2-during the 10 days not a single time anybody came to clean and change beddings

Great location

The long stay was great- location is fantastic with a walking boulevard all the way to the beach (about a 10 min walk). Many wonderful restaurants and grocery stores within 2 blocks. There is a taxi stand 1 block away. The internet was very fast and worked very well. Thanks!

Great Condo, Owners and Location

This condo is in a great spot, located next to several quality eating establishments, a few of which are steps out the front door. It is well appointed, secure, functionally well designed, well kept and clean. The area of Poblano is one we would happily visit again. The beach is a ten minute walk and several cheap means of transportation are close by. Barcelona is set up for ease of travel and we felt that staying here. Miguel and Miguel Sr. both ensured we had a quality stay, helped stock the condo, arranged transport to and from the airport and checked in to make sure we were doing well. We would happily stay here again. ***Note***we rated the "Accuracy of Online Listing" 3 stars for one reason. We were denied access to the pool. This was big for us as it we have two children that very much enjoy the water. We were informed by Miguel of an unfortunate incident that took place with a prior guest days before we arrived which created a problem and resulting invalidation of pool use for renting guests. Miguel compensated us for this change. We were treated fairly by Miguel and he did all he could to make up for this. We walked to the beach and had a great time. However, when we checked in, this did end up being a false advertisement for us, contrary to our expectations. I'm sure, knowing the owners as the good people they are, this will be remedied by removing the picture and mention of a pool in their ad or make sure the HOA of the building changes their policy before accepting future reservations under false pretenses. As mentioned, we would most certainly return and use this condo again and highly recommend it.

Fabulous place; great neighborhood near beach and cafes; close proximity to city center

Highly recommend!! Wonderful clean, warm, quiet and well appointed and well decorated flat. Apartment situated on lively avenue in Poblaneu neighborhood with a high-end organic grocery across the street and fruit and vegetable stores and bakeries and cafes and restaurants along the avenue. Beach and parks are a 5+ min walk down the avenue. Old city and city center (Gothic & Las Ramblas area) are an easy/pretty 15 min bike ride away or a quick taxi (easy to find) or uber away. We were a family of 4 (boys 18 & 20) and enjoyed having 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a beautiful kitchen. Beds were all very comfortable and there was little noise from the street below or surrounding apartments. The owners were wonderful! They were incredibly responsive prior to the trip, sharing tips on transportation and food stocking and recommending tour options to explore the city’s architecture and food. They also were incredibly helpful in welcoming us to town and navigating our arrival late at night on Christmas Eve (helping connect us to a private taxi service).

A beautiful apartment in a great location

This apartment was clean, had lovely furnishings and was in a great location. I really appreciated Miguel's quick response to any questions and the warm welcome by his father. We loved the neighborhood and all the restaurants a short walk out the door. Perfect for two couples as the bedrooms are on opposite sides, so each couple has privacy. While we did not cook, the kitchen was well stocked. We loved having the washer with separate dryer, which is rare in Europe. We will definitely try to stay here again if we return to Barcelona. The Rambla poblenou is a very dynamic Street with lots of local shops, nice cafes and restaurants. Close to the beach and very handy to get to the city center. You will be in a OSASIS in Barcelona. Close to the main sightseeings but on a great local area known as the SoHo of Barcelona

A Unique design apartment. It took us more than a year to plan all the areas. Every piece of furniture is intended to be special for the room its located. Very warm atmosphere for your stay. We would define it as a Boutique apartment.
