Was exactly what we needed for our annual 4-day fishing trip. The house had plenty of room and was well supplied. Was very close to the boat ramp for access to Waquoit Bay and was a short ride to beaches and downtown restaurants. We would definitely stay there again.

We mostly used the house for sleeping since we have family in the area and were there to attend a wedding. The house is quiet and comfortable and quite large. Lots of room to spread out in. Clean and cute.

The location was perfect and the space was very comfortable - the neighborhood was quiet, lovely and private. Our host was very responsive and made the process effortless, both in and out.

Summer Cape 2025 Vacation

Property was great and large with 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. Loved the surroundings and the water close by.

The actual house was good. Large clean very workable. The location was misrepresented. It was not on the water. Couldn’t see the water from the small deck. The “beach” was extremely small and definitely not “a few steps away.” The flight of stairs going down to the water were difficult as well. The neighbors were less than friendly and complained about “noise”. That being adults sitting by the fire laughing. We were told not to hang out in the water which I find disturbing because I don’t know what else your meant to do in the water. This is a residential area where the neighbors are apparently not happy with this property being rented.

Dorothy, I’m sorry that you did not have a positive experience at our cape house. This is the first negative review that we have received in our 4 years of renting. Additionally we get high marks for accuracy of the listing. The property is not listed as “on the water” or on a beach. The listing states that the closest beach is a 5 minute drive away. Or you can kayak on Waquoit Bay to the beach. We have never had a noise complaint from our neighbors prior to Dorothy’s group. It is noted in the listing that we are located in a quiet family neighborhood. We hope you find a better fit next year. Thank you for your feedback

Great big family house! We had such a great stay!!! Didn’t have enough towels when we arrived, but our host responded right away to our request for more. We enjoyed watching basketball playoffs in the living room, which actually had seats for all 10 of us (which never happens), and played a lot of lawn games. Loved the location—just steps away from Waquoit Bay and a short drive to great dining and gorgeous beaches. Don’t leave town without having fried clams at Seafood Sam’s! Kayaks were an excellent added bonus. Thanks for sharing your house to make great memories!!!
