We stayed at this wonderful cottage for a fall weekend. The location is perfect. The cabin sits on a small pond surrounded by lovely trees. It’s important to know that you bring your own sheets and towels. The house was clean and the kitchen is well stocked. The owner lives nearby and is very responsive. We’ve now stayed here twice and look forward to visiting again.

The house was very well kept and the view was amazing. My dog had the time of her life swimming and playing in the surrounding woods. We had a lovely time and will recommend Bernadette and Jim’s place to everyone who wants to unwind and enjoying privacy and quiet.

We had such a lovely, relaxing time at this cottage. It really is such a peaceful and quiet location. The house was clean and very cozy, with all the amenities you could ask for. The view is stellar and we loved listening to the loon calls at night. The hosts are especially kind and responaive. We will definitely be coming back next year and hope to use the kayaks and boats then too!

We’ll definitely try to find availability for next summer here since it is 20 minutes from our two adorable grandsons, daughter & son in law! Our 2 1/2 year old grandson LOVED kayaking with me!!

The home was beautifully renovated and had everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay. As a matter of preference: the master bedroom mattress was extremely soft, and difficult for my husband with a bad back to sleep in. Also, the bathroom towels were very linty, and did not absorb. Otherwise we were very happy with our stay. Thank you!
