Lake front, beautifully remodeled 3 bedroom and 2 bath home. The 3 bedrooms and 1 bath are upstairs (ground level) Kitchen, living room, and 1 full bath downstairs and central air conditioning throughout. Has sliding door that walks out to the lake view in a secluded cove perfect for swimming or fishing. Has a private dock and kayaks for use. All new furnishings including 4 new queen beds and washer and dryer. Large back yard with a fire pit for comfortably hosting your family's next lake get away!

Standard check-in is 4:00 PM and check-out is 11:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request for an additional fee and subject to availability.

We stay at a lot of rental homes in the area and there are several perks about this property; it's easy to get to, the bedroom rooms are spacious, good size kitchen, great to have an in unit washer/dryer and also the flat yard leading up to the powered dock is a great added feature. Note; you will need to bring your own daily essentials; coffee, condiments, garbage bags, extra toilet paper, etc.

We also appreciate your feedback regarding daily essentials. We do provide basic kitchen supplies such as salt and pepper along with starter toiletries and essentials to help guests get settled in. However, with everyone having different personal preferences on daily items like coffee, condiments, specialty products, and other household essentials, we encourage guests to bring the items they personally prefer during their stay. We also want guests to know that we have onsite maintenance and storage nearby and encourage anyone to reach out during their stay if they need anything additional. We chose this property for its nice aesthetics, excellent dock, kayaks, paddleboard, and patio, which were highlights and lived up to expectations.However, the stay was significantly disrupted by ongoing issues. Upon arrival, the A/C was not cooling properly (windows had been left open). That night, water began pouring through the floor seams from an overflowing A/C condensate pan due to a clogged drain line. We later discovered the upstairs shower drain was also leaking into the basement bathroom, leaving standing water under the floor. Notably, another guest had reported a leak in their review 4 months earlier, yet it persisted unresolved.The owner’s response was minimal despite our outreach—no real follow-up beyond someone eventually shop-vac’ing some water (which we had mostly cleaned ourselves). There was dirt and debris throughout the floors and under the stairwell, plus a dead mouse in the utility room near the dehumidifier. The upstairs shower door would not close properly.Vrbo Care was contacted and offered only a 100 credit to “make up for it,” which felt inadequate given the extent of the water damage, maintenance failures, cleanliness issues, and health/safety concerns (pest flooding). While the location and outdoor amenities are strong, these unresolved problems made the stay stressful and disappointing. Future guests should be aware

We sincerely hate that you experienced these issues during your stay, as our goal is always to provide every guest with a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable lakefront getaway. Unfortunately, mechanical systems like air conditioners can experience unexpected problems without warning, even when they are regularly serviced. The clogged condensate drain was an unforeseen issue, not the result of neglect. Once we were notified, we responded immediately by dispatching a maintenance technician to clean up the water and resolve the problem. For that reason, we respectfully disagree with the statement that there was no follow-up. Regarding the mouse, this home is in a rural lake setting. While we regularly treat the property for pests and do everything possible to keep wildlife out, an occasional mouse can unfortunately find its way inside. We also wish you had let us know the situation was continuing to impact your stay. Had we known, we would have gladly discussed a refund or even moved you to one of our nearby lakefront units, as we own multiple properties on the same block. We take pride in providing clean, affordable vacation rentals and doing everything we can to make things right when unexpected issues arise. We appreciate your feedback and have addressed the maintenance items you mentioned.
