PROMINENT LOCATION!
[10 beds total. 3 Queen, 5 person bunk bed & additional sleeping: 2 twin couch beds (basement).
Deep water. LOW WAKE cove off of main channel/skiing area. Exceptional for fishing and SAFE for swimming. Bring your boat or rent one and tie up at our dock. Enjoy our 2 splash pads & 2 kayaks. Relax by fire pit. Washer/Dryer.
Free Wifi, Small, Charcoal Grill, 2 car-Garage, 2 Flat Screen TV's/DVD/Blu-ray player, Fully stocked (just bring food and toiletries), recently renovated, BRAND new beds, linens, towels & blankets.

Long weekend in Shawnee

Great house, private location on Lake of Egypt. Beautiful setting. Very spacious, very clean. Host was very accommodating and very responsive. Great communications. All in all a good value. Just wish we had caught more fish....;)

Had a great stay

We’ve stayed at a variety of houses along Lake of Egypt over the years and this was easily one of our favorite stays. The house was the perfect size for our family of 5. Nicely remodeled and very clean. Will definitely stay again. Only complaint is they need to upgrade the grill. They did such a nice job with the house, but clearly skimmed on the cheap charcoal grill, which was filthy.

Place on the Lake

We had a wondetful stay. The place is very spacious. The kitchen and island are very nice. The grandkids had fun in the kayaks.

Had an issue this year with the right boat slip where it previously had a lift. On the right side it had a piece of metal that did significant damage to the boat, scratching and gouging the side. High water at the beginning of the week did not help and probably contributed to the problem.Strongly suggest removing the metal from the side of the dock and block off immediately.

Better than the listing!

This location was so much better than we expected from the listing! The view of the lake was stunning, the house looked like a new Reno, and they even supplied the things you often forget to bring along. We truly loved our stay, and will likely do it again!

Family Getaway

This was a nice clean place to stay. It was nice that we were able to tie up to the dock with the boat. Boys had a great time fishing all weekend. The host - Laura was so nice and kept us informed on items. Thank You!

Our family was impressed with the indoor accommodations. We felt it to be very clean and probably the best equipped kitchen of any rental we have ever stayed. Feeding all of us was never and issue we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again. A suggested improvement would be the stairs/path to get the dock are in need of an update, Overall a great stay, thank you.

Good for a fishing tournament

Good stay, convenient, nice to have a dock on the water, only downside way to small of hot water tank for a large group, water got cold after only a few minutes.

Girls’ trip 2023

This is the second time our group has stayed here. It is one of the best VRBO’s I have stayed at. It met our needs perfectly, from the layout of the house, to the large deck, and to the lake access. We had good communication with the hosts.

From the second that we booked the stay, Laura was more than happy to help with anything that we needed. She was prompt and professional with all communication. Beautiful home, excellent stay

This is the 2nd time my family and I have stayed here. After the first time, we knew we wanted to go back. The home is clean and very spacious and was able to accommodate our large family without feeling like we were in top of each other. We love the swimming area and enjoyed our time in the water and fishing from the dock. Highly recommend!

[Includes use of splash pads (please bring your own Life Vests) & 2 kayaks.

Lake of Egypt Pontoon Boat Rentals, Mack's Marina & Egyptian Hills Marina have boat rentals. You can launch your boat & tie up to our dock.

Beautiful lake views, as we are right off the main channel/skiing area. You will be able to see lots of boats, jet-skis, etc. Great, DEEP water.

Absolutely NO pets of any kind are allowed. If evidence of pet, you will be charged $300 for additional cleaning fee.

We do require a $100 Damage Deposit. This will be returned to you immediately upon our cleaning team reporting no damage, no excess cleaning, and no excess trash.
