Great period house

Adult groups gathered for commencement at SDSU. The house was as listed and shown. We had a great time and the house was spacious. Only issue was the bathroom knobs sometimes don’t engage and that could be fun getting out of the bathroom.

An extraordinary property from the Golden Age of Deco

This Streamlined Moderne home was the perfect getaway for our trio of 60+ gals to spend a long weekend: we’re lovers of vintage clothes, objects and furniture so this unique, historic property fit us well, and we don’t expect perfection, preferring the charm of original tile bathrooms (with excellent baths and showers!) to the sleek, contemporary versions. Alli and Devon were so extremely helpful and caring, even coming over immediately to clean an overlooked coffee pot and provide us with an assortment of Nespresso pods for the remarkably well-appointed kitchen: you could easily cook a gourmet meal there. Extra care must be taken in this home but it’s worth it, and we wouldn’t have it any other way! While some of the quirks are still being worked out (as we understand it, the home is new to the vacation-rental scene!) we were very comfy, each of us had our own bedroom and bathroom (though only the elegant master bedroom with en suite bathroom had a chest of drawers and shelves, fyi). We would stay there again in a nanosecond: having rented too many places to count over the years. Few are truly memorable, but this will stay in our memories forever!

Glamorous house

Huge bedrooms and bathrooms. Plenty of gathering areas. Rooftop view was spectacular. Plenty of spices in the kitchen.

Amazing!

I booked this house for my sister’s bachelorette and it was the perfect place! The house was clean, very nicely decorated, well stocked with towels, kitchen accessories, coffee, etc. and the view off the roof top was amazing. The hosts were also very professional and responsive when I had any questions. I would definitely rent this house again and highly recommend it to anyone staying in San Diego!
