Wine country with French friends

We brought our friends from France to Arkansas wine country. This home offered the perfect space for us to "unwine," cook, and make new memories. The street is noisy but the provided ear plugs and noise machine are helpful. The town feels safe and friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Allred family reunion

Love old homes. The stay was perfect. The property could use some cleaning up. Outsde needs paint and old lumber needs to be removed.

Historical treasure

Creative well-appointed update to a home from another era. We had everything we needed and many extra touches made us feel welcome. Comfy beds, beautiful living room. Great game room for the kiddos. Big thumbs-up!

We loved the place it was clean and plenty of space for me and my wife. The location was a bit noisy due to excessive traffic but over all we had a great experience we especially liked the game room and large showers and big tub. We liked the grape festival

4 Days of motorcycle riding and wineries

2 couples on Harleys rode from Kansas to Ozark for some RnR and some wine and brewery tours. Unfortunately both breweries were closed (indefinitely?) but we did make the wineries. Had a delicious German lunch at the Wiederkehr Winery. We walked to many restaurants and to the grocery store. The only drawback of this property was the highway outside is a constant stream of loud semi trucks and vehicles without mufflers. It was very loud, even throughout the night and until sunrise. All of us are dog lovers, and owners. However, there are 2 stray dogs next door that continued to threaten us as we walked to town every day, and they preferred to do their business under the carport where we parked our bikes. That was a bit unpleasant. But, the inside of the house is super clean and nicely appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Excellent house and service

The House is located in the Ozark town close to restaurants and supermarkets. The house is very clean and spacious. It has everything a family might need. The recreation room is super cool. The owners pay attention to details that makes your stay easier and enjoyable. The communication with the owner is very fast. The house was about 35 min to and hour driving from the areas at the Ozark national Forrest we wanted to visit. We loved to unwind watching TV at the end of the day. The BBQ restaurant in town is really good. I will definitely will come back.

Weekend getaway

This house was perfect for our weekend getaway. We were hoping to get some fishing in but got rained out. We took advantage of the game room. The donut shop is a quick walk from the house as well!

Nice place!

This house was very roomy and in a great location. We enjoyed the Waffle maker for breakfast and the game room was a nice touch. Will stay here again when back in Ozark.

Our first trip to this beautiful area was November of 2016. As a young {and broke} couple we started looking for closer to home adventures in our great natural state. You can imagine our excitement to find out that Arkansas had a little wine country, and it was right at our back door! Altus, AR. Ever since that trip we’ve returned year after year to enjoy the nature and beauty of the area along with excellent wine. Since we have two fur children ourselves, we knew that any place we would open had to allow others to enjoy traveling with their well-trained doggos. Now several years later, we have opened a spot to call your own while you enjoy the best of Arkansas’ wine country!

All local wineries are within 10 miles of here, you're just a block away from the local park, walking distance to the local brewery and town square, and only about a 30 minute drive to the nearby hiking trails!
