Turner Bend Carriage House is a studio size apartment with one full bed and a bathroom that tucked under a foothill with private drive and lots of parking. This cabin is located just off Highway 23/the Pig Trail is in the heart of the Ozark National Forest and within walking distance to the Woodhaven house and is directly across from the Round the Bend Cabin. It is half mile south from the Turner Bend Store. It is a convenient location to access the Mulberry River or the ATV/OHV trailhead.

The space

From the Carriage House you can access the Mulberry River to launch your boat at the Turner Bend Store, or ride your ORV/ATV to the trailhead 1 miles away, half mile to the Mulberry River; boat access at Turner Bend Landing. We are 5 miles south from the Mulberry Mountain's Wakaan Music Festival and 8 miles south of Byrd's Adventure Center. Ozark Highland Trail is near by for hiking and Highway 23/the Pig Trail is well known ride for most motorcyclists. Our Turner Bend Store is half mile north for all your supply need.

Guest access

Guests turn off Highway 23, drive though the open gate and self check-in with a punch code.

Nice cabin getaway

We enjoyed our recent stay at the Carriage House! The property was clean, and at a perfect location for the jeeping event we attended. There was plenty of parking for our trailer and jeeps, and the host was very nice, messaged us to make sure we made it in ok, and to see if we needed anything. The house is small, but for two it was fine. The only thing we were not expecting was that even though the listing said it had a full bathroom, there was not a sink in the bathroom, the kitchen sink was the only sink. With just the two of us we were able to move some plates around on the open shelves to make a place for our toothbrushes, face cleanser, etc. If you had more than two people, or you like more room for your bathroom stuff, it might be a little more difficult but not a deal breaker! We would definitely stay there again.

You are in the heart of the Ozark National Forest. From the cabin to can access OHV/ATV trailhead directly with your off road vehicles. drivers can ride from our cabins to all of the ATV trailhead 1 mile away. Mulberry River access is half mile at the Turner Bend Landing. Your are in a beautiful and quiet surrounding but right on the Highway 23, the Pig Trail and the Mulberry River. Ozark Highland Trail is near by for hiking.
