Charming 3/2 or can easily be 2/2 & 1/1 with separate entries! Conveniently located between Sebastian and Palm Bay! Just updated bathrooms and kitchen! Front and back patios! Large comfortable sitting areas inside or out! Fireplace inside (electric so no mess) and fire pit outside for fun relaxing time. I love to cook so you have a well appointed kitchen with great pots and pans, electric skillet/griddle, Full Bar setup. Just bring your toothbrush! So much fun to do from beach to kayaking and cycling…great boating right across the street. So many fun places to eat on the River too. Close to NASA and Orlando!

Cute Waterfront House

This property is a work in progress. Lots of items that still need renovation. Overall a very comfortable stay. We had one issue that was addressed immediately by the owner and the repair met our expectations.

Beautiful view of the river

We had a great stay at this home. The beds were comfortable, the house was very cute, and kitchen was easy to cook meals in. The views of the river were beautiful and the home is close to grocery stores and restaurants. The 3rd bedroom is through the garage and separate from the rest of the house for anyone traveling with younger kids like we were. We didn't use that room because of this but we still wouldn't hesitate to rent this home again.

This property could have been much better with little effort. House is in need of exterminator, had to throw out a lot of food, go over run with ants overnight, second bathrooms was filthy, no one would use it, so 5 people sharing main bath, and barbeque filthy and no propanebarbeque filthy and no gasbarbeque filthy g

Decent Value

Had a very good stay for a family gathering. The place is good value for the money. Don't expect luxury accomodations, but it was better than renting 2 or 3 hotel rooms. Not complaints, but observations: the house is located in between a busy railroad line and U.S. Rte 1, so there is some noise. It seems like the property was on well water, with relatively low water pressure and sometimes a hint of sulphur was in the air. I grew up in the country, so I wasn't really bothered. The shower in the garage room did not have enough water pressure to be used, but we were fine with 1 shower/tub. The couch was extremely comfortable, but the matresses on the beds are a little soft. All in all, it was a good stay, especially for the price.

Spacious but noisy!

The actual house is quite nice and large with room outside, in the lanai and has double car attached. The road US 1 is very busy. To walk or bicycle along the road is taking your chances. The area around Sebastian is beautiful. We spent most of our time across the Indian river on the island. Lots of parks and Nature Trails. Food in the area is excellent, and lots to do! We were surprised by the train that goes nearby the back yard, but you do get used to it after a couple of days. The house is a great base to explore the area.

Has bright spots but needs work

This house has real potential. It’s cute, centrally located, nice water view, and quiet backyard. However there really needs to be some work put in. Strips of the ceiling were coming down (no leaks, just visually unappealing), baseboard would move as we opened the doors, spiders all around the 2nd bathroom and extra bedroom, floors were dirty, ants in the kitchen, water barely flowed in the second shower (made it useless). The garage area you walk through to get to the last bedroom was also a real eye sore. I loved having the laundry room and we had plenty of towels - the screened in porch was peaceful but also showing a lot of wear. I hope this owner reconsiders who they have cleaning and looks at doing some repairs to make the space feel more appealing and cozy.

Pretty good overall

Call me spoiled, but I’m used to having a full-size bath in at least one of the bedrooms. You will not have that here. The double sink bath shown in the pics is in the hall. The separate room is in the garage, with a tiny full bath. There was a horrible orange stain in that shower, which the owner claimed had accumulated in the past two weeks, and it leaked all through both nights because the plumber could not come until Monday. That garage room also has poor a/c, so we had to buy and setup a window unit, which the owner reimbursed us for. I hope it stays for future guests. We were offered to cancel the reservation and get a hotel, but it was late at night with 5 kids, so that was not practical. Everyone was sold out, too. Overall an older, isolated, well-kept place at an awesome rate. Note that the beach and decent places to eat are a good 25-35 minutes away.
