Lakefront cabin in quiet cove on Lake Hartwell

This is a unique A-Frame Wood Cabin covered in a tree canopy and overlooking a peaceful cove in the Reed Creek area of Lake Hartwell. It is a 3 bedroom/2 bath home that comfortably sleeps 8 with ample room to spread out and comes with tons of ways to be entertained. There is no better place to wake up and have a cup of coffee overlooking the lake or relax in the evening.

It is a great house with a group of family and friends with a well-stocked kitchen, a charming back porch overlooking the lake, and a great large table perfect for big dinners and game nights. There is a drive-through zoo just a few minutes from the cabin, a general store is 5 minutes away, and the charming downtown Hartwell is a 15-minute drive with great restaurants, a brewery, music venues and even ax throwing!

As for getting on the water, this cove is one of the best. It is quiet and always full and makes a large recreation area for guests that has been best described as a large personal swimming pool. The cabin comes with lots of lake toys such as kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, and a 4 person paddle boat. It is a great dock to fish from as well. The dock has a sun deck to enjoy the day on a covered boat slip should you bring or rent a boat. The boat ramp is a mile from the house.

This is a new listing to VRBO but we have been a super host for the past 3 years on another listing site with great reviews.

Perfect Girls’ Getaway!

We loved everything about our stay here! The house itself was so cozy and well-appointed. The hosts’ attention to detail is obvious, as we had everything we needed and more. We spent most of our time floating in the water and sunning on the dock in the beautiful, quiet cove, but also enjoyed sipping coffee on the deck in the mornings! Thank you Brenda and Geoff for sharing your little piece of paradise with us!

Country Cabin

We had an amazing stay and Brenda and Geoff made our stay amazing. Check-in was super easy and they made everything super easy. Cabin had all the essentials and more. You don’t need to bring anything. Great TV and internet connection. The dock was on of our favorite places to hang out. Broke out the fishing poles and even caught a few small bass. There are a few convenience stores nearby for the essentials and a little drive for dining. Our favorite was the Tiki Bar. Don’t wast your money on those really expensive VRBO’s, this place is just as good. We would come back in a heartbeat. Bring a boat for your stay. The slip dock is more the adequate for your needs. Thank you for making our stay so magical.

Wonderful trip to Lake Hartwell

This home was a comfortable, clean and spacious place to stay on Lake Hartwell. The home had a great deck looking out at the lake which was perfect for morning coffee. Had all the lake toys available (kayaks, paddle boards, life vests, etc) and a Great Lake for fishing. nice dock to relax on.

Sweet Hartwell Lake Getaway

The house we rented was cozy and comfortable. The cove on the lake was extremely quiet and peaceful...which is just what we were craving. The house had all the amenities we could have hoped for plus some. I was very impressed by the response of the owner, Brenda, whenever I had a question or concern. I asked her if she had any lounge chairs to take to the dock and she immediately ordered some! There was an issue with the air conditioning in one room and Brenda immediately called the AC company to get it resolved. I am very impressed with the kindness and care given to me and my family during our stay.

Delightfull

House was so cool when we arrived…with the heat outside we were grateful. Loved looking out the sliding doors on the balcony onto the lake. One side of the door however is quite cloudy but still able to see the scenery from the other panels. Lots of water playthings which were wonderful, especially the peddle boat! Thank you!

Amazing stay at this lakeside cabin

An amazing stay was had by all at this beautiful Lakeside cabin. Private yet accessible only minutes to the lake by foot. Enough room for everybody and a great deck overlooking the water. Highly recommended for family, friends and loved ones. Can’t say enough about the house Brenda, she answered all our questions in a timely fashion.

Great family lake house!

Our family had a great time on the lake in this house. We had all of our kids and grandbaby - it accommodated everyone nicely! Perfect location for day trips too … Hartwell is super clean, cute and had any store we needed especially Starbucks for me. My younger kids enjoyed the board games and kayaks while my older ones loved the paddle boat and catching fish from the dock (added bonus). The owner was extremely attentive to our needs and we appreciate Brenda so much!! For the price, location and amenities this was a steal!! Highly recommend.

Nice roomy house on the lake

This was a great stay with lots of kitchen necessities (bag of local coffee❤️), lake toys, games, puzzles, tv. Big table for meals and games. Laundry. A little ways from a grocery store, recommend stocking up before arrival. Brenda communicated fast and was so helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Cute, comfortable lake cabin.

Great layout for familys! 2 Kids rooms upstairs, big tv in one of them. Downstairs master and comfortable LR each have flatscreens. Big DR table for family meals or games if the weather turns. Easy load in and out. Kitchen was well stocked with all we needed. We had good Wi-Fi and cell service the whole time. Comunication with owners was fun, easy, responsive and extremely helpful.

Amazing!

Our family had such a great time, and the memories we made were priceless! We basically had the cove all to ourselves. The cove the dock sits on is perfect for families with kids as they can play in the water without lake traffic. Beautiful cabin very clean with amazing lake access. Feels like you’re in a treehouse!! We can’t wait to stay here again.

A great time on the lake!

This cabin has everything you need. It was a great place to build family memories. There is a beautiful view of lake hartwell from the back deck. My boys really enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks. The dock is a great place to enjoy the sunshine. Just a few miles away is Hartwell wildlife safari, I would recommend taking a visit to it. All in all, this cabin is a great value, we cant wait for our next stay here!

Peaceful Lake retreat

House was extremely clean, very peaceful with great views inside or outside of the lake! Could easily accommodate 8 people. Would definitely stay there again and would recommend to others.
