A nice house in a quiet location convenient to downtown

Very clean, comfortable beds. Kitchen and bathroom nicely provisioned. Second floor bathroom is a ship-sized sink and toilet only. Showers are on first floor. Stairway VERY steep. Could use second handrailing. Could use more night tables. No table lamps in bedrooms. Sparse storage space in bedrooms. Otherwise a nice convenient sta..can recommend. Bedrooms lack night tables (

Good amount of space and close to town

We were a large group with eight people staying at the house. Having 2 1/2 baths made it work well for us. Also, the kitchen was well stocked with pans and utensils so having dinner in was a breeze. The futons are not the most comfortable, so I was glad we brought an air mattress. There was a glitch with the Wi-Fi which was quickly resolved. The property manager came over within 30 minutes of us calling about it. The property is an easy walk to downtown. Overall, it was a nice house with plenty of space for a big group.

Charming House

Had a great stay here. The host accommodated a last minute request to extend our stay another night, which was very kind. We loved the coffee selection they had! Would definitely recommend this house.

Very spacious clean home

We were originally supposed to stay in a smaller property but the host asked if we would switch to this house due to some maintenance. The house was very clean and well stocked with things we needed. The driveway was not the easiest for a truck and bass boat but was manageable. Overall great house with a lot of accommodations.

Bad Driveway

Good place to stay. Terrible place if you have a boat and came to fish. I asked owner if there was room for a boat and they said yes. Not true.

Great renovated property!

We had an awesome stay! Mariel has created a beautiful renovated home. I have seen the other reviews and her response to the one bad is spot on! You cannot get a better home for this price so close to Alexandria bay, meaning smack in the middle! Cleanliness: Beautiful and clean presentation. All of our needs were met with clean linen and rooms. Amenities: Kitchen was fully stocked with cups, plates and everything you need to make a nice cooked meal. Nespresso machine was to die for and also fully stocked! (We bought one today!) all of toiletries were provided to include toothpaste and toothbrushes! Washer and dryer combo worked beautifully. Sleeping arrangements: we had 3 adults and 2 kids and had plenty of room! Each room had a personal air conditioner (older home so no central air) but it didn’t matter. All of the units were more than enough for each room. Location: Literally couldn’t get closer to the water unless you paid triple the price and required a boat to get there! We were 3 mins (walking) 1 min (driving) to the heart of Alexandria bay! Couldn’t have been easier. Keewaydin State Park was about a 8 min drive from the house with beautiful areas to fish. Uncle Sam Boat Tour is a must! If you plan on visiting Boldt Castle, where good walking shoes! Host: Mariel was great, communicated quickly and had I needed anything I am confident she would have handled it!

Walkable to the charming Alex bay!

We worked through some issues with the property owner. She was responsive and polite. It was a convenient place to stay. It was well stuffed with all the amenities to survive a few days. It is a fresh renovation!
