Great location and pool
Rating Details:
The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was spotless.
I was very happy with the location.
I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

Overall, we had a great spring break at 12 Surf Scoter. The proximity to the beach was amazing and we loved the heated pool (a must in March). The house itself has a 1970's layout, which you can probably tell from the pictures, so it is a bit of a trek getting from the main living area to the pool. You have to go down a flight of stairs, out the front door, and through a car port. First world problems, but it's a bit wonky. The house was clean, but definitely had an old cottage smell. We could even smell it on our clothes when we got home from the trip. Some area rugs in the main living area and bedrooms might make it feel a little cozier. And hanging the TV over the fireplace, so you can see it from the main sitting area, might make that space more functional. Like I said, overall we had a great time. The beach, the pool, and Hilton Head overall is amazing. If we come back, next time I'll probably start my VRBO search a little sooner and look for something a little newer.
