Our home is set in the historic Hibiscus Park neighborhood, just a short walk from the UF campus, BHG Stadium, O'Connell Center, Publix, restaurants and more. We are located just north of University Ave., with beautiful mossy oaks lining the peaceful streets.
Our property is within easy walking distance to campus, sports events and restaurants, so you can park in our ample driveway in front of the home and walk to many close by locations. Plenty of room for two cars.

The property was as the listing stated. Very clean and recently updated throughout the home. Easy walk to the stadium. Nice, large backyard. Plenty of parking. Quiet neighborhood. The host was always quick to reply to the few questions I asked. I would definitely stay here again.

Just perfect, great location, cute quiet neighborhood close to UF! The decor was very nicely done! Little computer desk nook came in handy! Everything is updated. It's adorable! Best feature is that front porch. Simply fantastic!

Wonderful Gainesville mini vacation.

Perfect base to explore former hometown. Cozy, comfortable cottage with everything we needed available.Accidentally left an unopened bag of cookies in the fridge which we hope someone gets to enjoy.We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent stay

This was our second stay and once again the property was exactly as described. It is a great location for visitors to UF and suited us perfectly. Communication was excellent and a minor issue with the toilet handle was resolved within hours.Would definitely stay again!

This is a great little house in a nice, quiet, and safe neighborhood, and so close to many good things! As a guest, you will feel at home. The owners are excellent. The house is clean & well-designed. Check in and check out is a breeze and communication with the owners is superb.

Perfect bungalow

We visit Gainesville often to visit our kids who attend UF. We stay at hotels and occasionally rent a house. Would highly recommend this property. Great location! We enjoyed a bonfire while watching football and it was a great place to relax after a weekend full of activities. We look forward to returning to this sweet and cozy bungalow.

Great Find!

This place was an excellent find. Having lived in Gainesville for 10+ years and returned yearly for FEST each October, I have stayed in places throughout town. Great location for Fall football weekends and of course FEST. Will definitely reserve again (if available) on future trips!

Mike and Stephanie are Florida natives who split their time between FL and NC. Mike was born in Gainesville but grew up in Hickory, NC, hiking and camping in the high country. Stephanie was born and raised in Florida.

We love traveling to NC to enjoy the scenic mountains, the cooler temperatures and local attractions. We enjoy hiking and skiing — and do our best to squeeze every minute of fun we can out of life. We also live by and love the beach!

To us, having a getaway in the mountains or at the beach is to live the good life. So we named our properties the “Good Life Getaway”.

We added many decorative touches to make the home both comfortable and inspiring to our guests.

When we are not living the good life in NC you may find us in Redington Beach at the tiki bar drinking margaritas. In the fall we can be found at a Tampa Bay Buccaneers football game.
