Ross is a suburb of San Francisco in the heart of wonderful Marin County with a population of 2,537. It is one of the best places to live in California, and if I dare say, the country. Living in Ross offers a rural feel and the charm of yesteryear while still being sophisticated. There are a lot of restaurants, coffee shops, and parks within walking distance, including the only Michelin star restaurant in the county.
The location is Ideal: 11 miles to the Golden Gate Bridge, 25 miles to the Wine Country and 20 miles to the ocean. Marin County's natural sites include the Muir Woods redwood forest, the Marin Headlands, Stinson Beach, the Point Reyes National Seashore, and Mount Tamalpais. Marin is one of the highest-income counties by per capita income and median household income. You'll find some of the best hiking and biking trails in the world.
