We had a great time at Rustic Retreat. The house had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and seeing deer and a black bear. The owner was super responsive with clear instructions and gave great recommendations for local dining. We will definitely be staying here again.

Great place to escape in the mountains - very comfortable king bed, nicely appointed kitchen , hot tub and a nice pool table didn’t get to use the fire pit , but had covered wood and some fire tending tools Only thing was the master bedroom door needed adjusting , but uses a fire hose coupling ( retired FD stuff tastefully decorate the house ). we have rented several homes over the last two years in this area and this is on the go back list - easy drive to ellijay or blue ridge

Amazing place!!!

This was one of the best houses I’ve stayed at in the mountains. Everything was just as pictured and we enjoyed our stay so much, we wish we would’ve booked it longer!! I will definitely keep this house in mind for our next trip and highly recommend!!!

We had a great time at a great place, owners very attentive, we could tell they wanted us to have the best vacation here, lots to do at the cabin and surrounding area, great vacation and great host.

The Rustic retreat was all it was described and more. Lots of room and very clean. We loved that it was secluded.

Relaxing

We stayed for 1 week it was very nice and quiet. The only thing is the furniture in main house could be upgraded to more comfortable couch and chair with recliners being the most used gathering place in the main house. The Host were great and we had a nice time.

Secluded Mountain Paradise

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! This cabin is so spacious, well maintained and secluded. It has spacious rooms, comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen. We really enjoyed the game room, especially the high quality pool table. Our teenage sons never ran out of things to do! Additionally, the owners were more than willing to help or answer any questions we had at a moment’s notice. We would absolutely love to visit again!

Perfect Mountain getaway

Outstanding cabin with even better hosts!! Michele is wonderful to communicate with and very understanding should you have any issues or concerns during your vacation. Cabin is layed out perfectly and described very accurately! Lots of information provided by owner with thoughtful nuggets provided at the cabin. Very clean cabin and super close to all of the area’s attractions. Very quiet and great place to also escape from it all. We will be back.

Perfect Rustic Retreat

It was cozy, comfy and had amazing mountain views. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Perfect place for a family get away. Bunkhouse/Apartment perfect for fun and games for all ages. Driveway was a little challenging with motorcycles, but manageable. Every turn lead you to another stunning view. The location was 20 minutes from both Elijay & Blue Ridge. Perfect spot to relax, soak in all the views and have family time. Many memories made at this Retreat.

Family fun!

We had the entire family (8 of us) and the place was a perfect fit for us . The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. We like to cook, so that was nice. They enjoyed the hot tub and everyone loved the porch! We saw deer in the mornings while enjoying our coffee on the porch. Sometimes when I've rented "pet-friendly" properties, they have not been the cleanest. That was NOT the case with this place. VERY clean and even had treats for my daughter's fur baby. She loved it! The location is super convenient to Ellijay and Blue Ridge. We enjoy hiking waterfalls and there were several close by. Communication with the host was quick and answered all my questions. Very nice!

Family weekend getaway

This was our first trip to Blue Ridge and it did not disappoint! The cabin was well stocked with all the essential items needed for the trip. We cooked steaks and burgers on two evenings and had everything needed to prepare those dinners. The grill was clean and stocked with propane, more than enough plates/ bowls/cutlery for the group, and plenty of seating. The cabin had plenty of space for a group of 8 and 2 pets. We loved drinking coffee in the morning on the large porch. It had plenty of comfortable seating for all of us. We tubed the Toccoa River, played golf at Old Toccoa Farms, visited downtown Blue Ridge and Mercier Orchards, and even took a day trip over to Helen, GA. Ed and Michele were very approachable and responsive with any questions or concerns. Made the process so easy and effortless. If your planning or thinking about planning a trip to the area don't look past this spacious retreat!

Clean cabin with separate game room. Private, with no neighbors within sight of property. Kitchen, all bedrooms/bathrooms are very nice. Recommendations: game room is plenty large for a foosball table, property grounds are big enough for cornhole boards and living room could use a coffee table. Overall stay was excellent.
