Wonderful Location for San Diego Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at this quiet and very conveniently located property for our visit with our adult kids who live in the area. It was just as described and very clean and comfortable. It is close to Del Mar and Torrey Pines and easy access to I-5. We could walk to a cute coffee shop. I am thankful I found this condo for our trip and would definitely stay there again.

Respite trip

Stayed a few nights and it was exactly as advertised. Walkable to grocery store, within 2 miles to Carmel Mt for trails (Torrey is closed), pool area was nice. Would stay here again.

Evaluation of property

Property was clean and in a nice area. Grounds were nice. Parking straightforward. The interior of the apartment was clean. However, the apartment was minimally furnished. For example, there was a side table on only one side of the bed, a small couch but no chairs in the LR, no basic ‘welcoming’ supplies in the kitchen (for example, coffee, tea, condiments), and no dish soap or dishwasher soap. We’ve stayed in many VRBOs in the US and other countries and this was the first time we’ve stayed in a place without these basic supplies. Arriving late in the evening after a long flight, having to go out first thing in the morning for coffee was disappointing. We contacted the owner re the absence of either dish soap or dishwasher soap - she said she’d reimburse us. (We just went out the disco.) Also, there were limited dishes and only plastic ‘glasses’ - so we had to wash dishes throughout our stay. And we were disappointed that there was no way to recycle. We don’t like giving negative reviews. If you’re looking for a relatively sparse environment and intend to eat all meals out, this would meet your needs. Also, it wouldn’t take much to make this a more comfortable and welcoming setting.

Property was nice and good location. Air quality in house was not good. Poor circulation, system was noisy and house had a bit of a musty smell.

Great place to stay

Perfect accommodation—nice one bedroom condo with kitchen amenities and washer/dryer. Three miles from Del Mar Horsepark (or whatever we call it now). Great selection of nearby restaurants.
