Summary:

This 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment is the perfect place for a relaxing beach getaway. Nestled in a quiet area of Pacific Beach, it’s just a 4-minute walk to the sand and 7 minutes to all the action in PB. With southern-facing windows, the apartment is filled with natural light.



Although the appliances are classic, they add to the charm and offer a quintessential beach living experience. Just 15 steps outside, you’ll find yourself looking out at the beautiful Pacific Ocean!



The Space:

Our home is clean and comfortable, though not newly renovated. Some fixtures or paint may show normal cosmetic wear typical of a beach home and may not be fully reflected in the listing photos.

✔️ Bright Bedroom – A queen-size bed and closet with plenty of natural light.

❄️ Like many beach homes in the area, this property does not have central AC or heating. Portable fans and heaters are provided to keep you comfortable year-round.

The Neighborhood:

Pacific Beach is known for the best sandy stretches in the world. Wake up in the morning with fresh coffee, take a 4 min walk to the sand and you’ll be able to walk the tide line for miles. The location of this unit is in northern Pacific Beach which offers really easy access to La Jolla beaches (3 miles), The Village (3.5 miles), and incredible restaurants.

Super close to the beach everything is convenient to get to!! We walked everywhere. you can’t beat the price compared to other places in the neighborhood. Cutest neighborhood that felt very safe. Definitely going to be staying here again on our next San Diego trip.

Found cockroaches on arrival, limited support from host, and had to rebook at my own expense—very disappointing.Upon arrival, my son and I were greeted by cockroaches in the unit. I immediately notified the host with photos and could not stay at that property. I spent 5 nights in hotels at my own expense while pest inspection confirmed “light activity” and while problem was addressed 2 days later it not confirmed until the following Monday. Host said it was my decision not to stay, but who would in these circumstances? The host offered no reimbursement, no alternative accommodations, and only communicated it was escalated to upper management. As a long-time VRBO guest and property owner, I find this lack of responsibility unacceptable and would caution future renters.

Bare bones & difficult parking

We got in late on our first night and had a very difficult time finding parking and there’s if the trip. I specifically asked about street parking and the manager said it was not a problem, it is in the summer. When we arrived it was very dark and difficult to see which unit it was. The place is bare bones and could use some updating , simple things like towel hooks. There’s no place to sit outside to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning which we missed in the photos. All the windows look into other units which is not easy to see in the photos, it felt dark and a little depressing. The couch had some questionable stains which made it feel gross. They did come to clean those off the sofa bed when we complained. Aside from that, the unit was clean. We were praying a premium price because of the time of year and it was way overpriced for what it was, in our opinion.
