It was very clean and very close to the beach. House had plenty of room for all of us pool was great. Would have liked the hot water for showers to be able to accommodate all of us. We had an amazing stay. Just FyI there is not beach chairs or any sort of equipment like a cooler or beach toys or a wagon , so you will need to plan on grabbing a few things. I liked there was donation bins at the end of the beach. We added a few things for others. But amazing stay for sure.

Graduation Weekend

What a wonderful stay. The house met every need and was conveniently located for all we had going on. Would stay here again if available in the future.

The location was amazing! There are only a few negative things to say. The furniture in the house was very dated! A lot of the furniture had broken legs. The house holds 22 with plenty of room to spread out but we couldn’t fit 14 comfortably in the living room to watch a movie together. The downstairs bedroom with the bunk didn’t have a tv in it and The stovetop burned everything we cooked onto the skillets so we had to soak and clean the skillets while cooking. Also I wish the trees in the back would be cut down so we could have a better view of the lake. We would definitely stay there again. These were just minor things that we would like to see changed.

Nice big house well located. IT was clean and pretty well stocked. But...1. No broom to sweep with in the kitchen and other areas.2. How to get to the beach? No directions. "Minutes to the beach" is worthless. Maybe paces? Feet? While located across from the beach, we had to walk down to the Crab Trap beach area for access. Not too bad; about 300 steps. But the listing could be more specific.3. There was no hot water in the whole house for 1.5 days till they got it repaired. How could the cleaning company miss "no hot water"? Both upstairs and downstairs water heaters were broken!4. Dishwasher didn't work. That took only a day to fix but they did.5. The lock on the apartment area above the garage was hit or miss. Couldn't lock the apartment on the way out; only at night when in it.6. Says parking for 7 cars but we could hardly fit 4. Very tight and near impossible to turn around. You'd think for a house that holds 22 they'd have more parking! The garage is not available for renters.7. Ocean Reef was pretty responsive to the hot water and dishwasher issues. They did a nice job.8. Need more spare blankets. Only 1 for the whole house.

Awesome week

Everything was just as advertised. House was great. Plenty of room for 18 of us to spread out. Quiet, clean, and comfortable. Pool and outside cooking area was also very nice. Communication with property manager and informative text were great as well.

Everything was good except the pool, for some reason it was not clean properly and cause ear infection on more than one person.

Big Fall home

We stayed in this house Oct 7-14- We had 19 people and still plenty of room for more. The pool area beautiful. My son cooked in the grill area worked good. I do wish they had more big frying pans but no big deal. The rooms were so big everyone had a great time right across the beach. No steps you had to go down.Everything was just perfect. the pictures are exactly what it looks like. We did have cold weather so I would have heated the pool if I knew it was going to be cold but usually we go at this time of year is pretty warm so this is why we chose to not heat it up. But everyone had a great time. I would definately rent again. OH one last thing NO BUGS this was awesome and the house smelled great and clean.

Not Great

Numerous issues! First, call to verify when your rental is available. We were told we could get in early, twice via text and phone call. However, it was not ready. We were told an inspector needed to go into the property for our safety. When we were able to get in the home, the ice maker was frozen solid. Both couches and 1 chair legs were broken. Fridge would not go below 44’, right burner only works on high. Built in grill doesn’t work, grill that did work, the gas ON when we got there. All floors were dirty, had to wear shoes or else bottom of feet would be black. Dirty towel and trash in upstairs main closet, no hot water. Came out twice to fix, breaker was turned off. Pool not heated on arrival, which we paid extra for. Numerous exterior lights were out, no extra blankets, stained sheets. There were more issues, but too many to list. We would not rent this unit again. Feel sorry for the renters that come immediately after use who wont be able to read this review.

This rental was not up to standard. Kitchen lacking supplies, guest house had bugs and annoying whistling from the air-conditioning vent. The pool dirty, furniture broken (sofa) pool rail very loose and dining table wobbled. All was reported and nothing was done during stay. We have rented for years in the Destin area and this home is not kept up. Pictures are deceiving.
