Unlike many larger homes with limited outdoor space, this cozy cottage offers a rare combination of a prime downtown location and a large, amenity-rich backyard—making it a standout alternative to hotel stays.
THE SPACE
The cottage features a bright living room with a sofa sleeper, a fully equipped kitchen, and a peaceful bedroom with soft, high-quality linens. It provides more space, comfort, and amenities than a typical hotel—often at a better value than other downtown rentals.
OUTDOOR OASIS
Relax in your private hot tub, grill on the patio, gather around the fire pit, or play cornhole in the spacious yard. With thoughtful design, fencing, and greenery, the outdoor space feels like your own private retreat in the heart of downtown.
PROPERTY LAYOUT & PRIVACY (SHARED YARD WITH PRIVACY FENCING – DETAILS BELOW)
We live next door and are available if needed, but your privacy is our top priority. We intentionally avoid using the backyard while guests are present, except for brief, necessary activities (such as entering/exiting or occasional maintenance like lawn care or snow removal). If maintenance is needed during your stay, we will always notify you in advance.
PROPERTY LAYOUT OVERVIEW:
The homes sit on separate lots but share a large backyard area
A 6-foot fence runs between the properties and extends partially into the yard, blocking direct sightlines between patios
The patio and hot tub area are positioned between the homes, further limiting visibility
We keep blinds and curtains closed and do not look into the guest space
There are no cameras monitoring the backyard or guest areas
ADDITIONAL PRIVACY FEATURES:
A separate 6-foot fence shields the patio from street view
The hot tub is tucked into a private corner nook with its own fencing, shelves, and hooks
Landscaping (bushes and trees) adds additional privacy (slightly less dense in winter)
BOTTOM LINE: The outdoor space is designed to feel private and is yours to fully enjoy. Most guests note they rarely, if ever, see us during their stay, and same goes for us. The only exceptions tend to be if there is necessary maintenance that we were not able to accomplish between check-out and check-in or the guests need us for something.

Located approximately 2.8 miles (about a 6-minute drive) from Kootenai Health.
Fully furnished with everything needed for extended stays, including a complete kitchen, fresh linens, plush towels, robes, and toiletries. High-speed Wi-Fi supports remote work, while the private hot tub and quiet yard provide the perfect place to unwind after long shifts.
A NOTE ABOUT PETS & WILDLIFE
We maintain a strict no-pet policy to protect guests with allergies and to preserve the comfort of our frequent wildlife visitors, including neighborhood bunnies and deer. Many guests enjoy watching—and safely feeding—the bunnies carrots in the yard.
Unauthorized pets will incur a $250 professional cleaning fee, along with additional charges for any damages. Thank you for your understanding.

Located right on the Centennial Trail—watch athletes run past on Mullan Ave or join the race and enjoy the hot tub afterward.
GUEST ACCESS
Guests have full access to:
