Welcome to Waterwheel Escape, your perfect New Braunfels getaway on the beautiful Guadalupe River! This first-floor corner condo combines comfort, convenience, and one of the best locations in the resort. Enjoy easy access to the river, two sparkling pools, four relaxing hot tubs, and acres of lush green space shaded by majestic pecan trees where deer are often seen wandering through the property.

Step onto your private balcony and take in panoramic views while enjoying your morning coffee or keeping an eye on family members enjoying the grounds below. The resort's prime location puts you just minutes from everything New Braunfels has to offer. Schlitterbahn, the Comal River, restaurants, shops, and downtown attractions are so close you can walk or bike there, while the historic charm, live music, and dining of Gruene are just a 5-minute drive away.

Inside, you'll find two comfortable bedrooms, each featuring a queen-size bed, plus a queen sleeper sofa with linens provided, making it perfect for families, couples, or friends traveling together.

Great location

Had a great time staying in New Braunsfels. Great location to everything we wanted to do. 4 adults was crowded enough would not recommend 6 people stay in such a small place unless it is kids

Great Getaway

This condo was perfectly situated for our trip to Wurstfest and Gruene. The host was excellent and communicated with us quickly. We highly recommend staying here and we will be back!

Great Location

You can go near I35 and get to all the staple type of places to shop and eat or you can take the short drive to the town square and enjoy local flavor. I wish we would have had more time to enjoy the area. Great quiet place.

Great location

Perfect location, central to everything. The outdoor space and river are a huge plus. You’re only a few yards to the Guadalupe river and pool area . We will definitely return, the manager of the property was also very responsive and checked in on us a few times during the stay.

The plase was very modern, nice, comfortable & clean. The location could not have been better. Everything except the safari was with in 6-11 minutes away. I would stay there again anytime.

River Trip

The condo was the perfect location for floating the comal or Guadalupe. It was very clean and well stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms. The beds were comfortable. It was easy to keep in contact with the property manager as well! Would definitely stay here again!

Great location

We were 2 couples. We enjoyed this condo. Great patio. Great location. A couple little things that were really nice: the light switches were labeled and I liked the night lights. Very thoughtful.

Wonderful Interior & Amenities!

We found the rental to be larger than expected, well furnished, nice furniture, and beautiful green area behind the condo. It was easy to get food delivered and had a great selection of restaurants and entertainment close by. The hosts were quick to answer their phones when I had a couple minor questions.

Fantastic Stay

We went to stay with friends as our husbands went on a hike for the weekend. My friend and I and our kids just loved it. The location was perfect. Right on the River, lots of greenery space, great pool, and the home was comfortable and clean! We had a great time. The kids spent so much time running and playing outside. We will definitely be back!

We had a memorable vacation at waterwheel condos and will definitely return next year to the same place. It has a nice access to the river and kids had fun at the vast private backyard. Aimee was extremely flexible with our requests. We had asked for stools for the toddlers just few hours before the checkin time. But Aimee made that happen and it was one less thing to worry about for us. All that we needed for us and the kids were right there in the unit. We didn’t have to worry about anything. Super flexible and responsive. It was such a relaxing vacation and a nice break from the city. Thank you Aimee for hosting us.
