Please note:
This is a first-floor unit with no stairs, though you may hear footsteps from upstairs neighbors. It may not be ideal for light sleepers.

Cute and comfortable! Great place to stay for a ski trip to Beech mtn. Host is very responsive. Appreciated the dryer for wet ski clothes and loved that where was a tea kettle for us tea drinkers.

The host was wonderful and communication was timely and helpful. The location is perfect for Banner Elk and surrounding activities. It is a short walk or drive to the center of town. The bathroom and kitchen amenities were very nice and helpful.

Beautiful home. Everything was nice and clean. Added touches of snacks and coffee was a big plus. Easy one floor access as my husband cannot navigate stairs very well.We were able to visit family and Grandfather Mountain. We just enjoyed driving around and looking at the scenery.

Beds were uncomfortably hard. Noise from upstairs making multiple trips. Noise from heater in main room loud, so loud you could not hear the television over it.Good location, but we left early, no suggestion of refund.

Good times at Banner Elk

The property was very clean and cozy and very close proximity of the town. We couldn’t have had a better time and Lillian our hostess could not have been more accommodating and kind.

Good Place to stay!

Overall our stay was really good. Location is great and walking distance from the little banner elk town and restaurant. Quick drive to sugar and beech mountains. As mentioned you can really hear the people walking around upstairs. But we don’t have any complaints about this place.

Beech Mountain Condo Gem

Great location between Sugar & Beech ski slopes. Less than 1 mile from many shops and restaurants in Banner Elk. Quaint. The small Welcome basket was really nice, stocked well with coffee & goodies! Short drive from Charlotte and surrounding cities. Lg great room with nice view. Quiet and peceful.

Wonderful Location

The condo was wonderfully located within walking distance to downtown Banner Elk which was great not having to use a car. The condo itself was very clean and well maintained. Certainly, this was one trip I’ll never forget.

lovely stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very convenient location and the condo is well equipped. The only item in the kitchen that I couldn't find was a non stick skillet. Will gladly return one day.

Enjoyable stay in Banner Elk

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Banner Elk. The home was very clean and comfortable for our family of four and my father. The location is very convenient and we walked down the hill into town for a delicious dinner at Sorrento’s one evening. It is a short drive to skiing at Sugar Mountain and Tubing at Hawks Nest. Communication with the owner was great and we felt safe staying here.

Great condo in a perfect central location!

I came here as a Lees-McRae alumni along with 3 other alumni friends for a weekend event. We really enjoyed being in this condo. It was clean and stocked with snacks and coffee for us. It was very spacious with great amenities. It was awesome to be in walking distance from downtown BE. Also not having any stairs was so nice! The condo check in and out process is also very simple and not hard at all! Lillian was a great host who was looking out for us upon our arrival. Overall it was a lovely stay! Def recommend for families or groups of friends!

Location! Location! Location!

This property was perfect for our long weekend away. The property LITERALLY overlooks downtown Banner Elk…. If the weather is nice you can walk just about everywhere! The condo was clean, cozy, and the BEDS were some of the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in! The owner was SO helpful and communicative, which made the whole process so easy (check in, recommendations, etc). I would HIGHLY a recommend this property and hope to stay there again myself!

Great location and property

We came to the area with friends to get a Christmas tree and to do some holiday shopping. The house is in a great location. Walking distance to banner elk. The home was very cosy for our party of 8. We had everything that we needed at the condo to make our stay enjoyable. The host was very responsive. We hope to come back to this condo and area again next year.

Cozy Condo 8/2023

This condo was conveniently located, clean and well equipped. They even included amenities that you get in hotels in case you forgot something. I have never stayed at a rental tgat provided the basic cooking supplies (salt, pepper, olive oil etc) and then some (coffee, tea and hot chocolate). Communications with the owner were a breeze! Great place to stay in Banner Elk!

We have always loved the mountains in North Carolina! And having a place so close to many nature trails, skiing resorts, and in the middle of a charming town like Banner Elk, makes relaxing very easy. My husband and I want to open our home-away-from-home to any travelers who enjoy the mountains the way we do!

The location of our condo is ideal for families, couples and groups of friends that look to be close to nature and enjoy the mountains: hiking, skiing, water rafting, etc. but also like to dine out, shop and enjoy cultural activities offered in town. The best of both worlds!
