Enjoy a relaxing family getaway at this cozy mountain cabin with a short walk to the river. It's an easy drive to caverns, the zoo, farmer's markets, wineries, state and national parks, and historic Luray and Front Royal. Enjoy hanging out in the game room playing darts, pool, foosball, surfing the internet, or watching TV. Fire up the grill, and at night relax by the firepit and roast some marshmallows in the peace and quiet of the mountains. Wake up and have a fresh cup of coffee in the charm of our kitchen that contains the original cabin logs from the 1800s. Or sit outside on the deck and you might just see the deer wander nearby. Whatever you do, you'll be sure to make memories for years to come! Veteran owned and operated!

Lovely stay in the woods we were around others but it felt like we were out in the woods by ourselves saw wildlife and the Walmart was only 17 minutes away when we needed groceries it’s the best of both worlds the game system controllers didn’t work which was disappointing but it didn’t ruin the trip we had a relaxing time you will too if you book the hosts are very nice

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Green River Home. Great cozy getaway cabin, driving distance or brief hike away from the river. Very quiet and tucked into a forested ridge with a nice small campfire spot. Everything was as listed and there was a detailed booklet telling everything about the cabin and local area.

This property was super cute and very well maintained. It even had nice toys in the kids room to keep them entertained! It also had other board games and a foosball table. It's close to most restaurants, other parks, scenic spots, and the caverns. We had a good experience visiting the mountains and the kids definitely enjoyed it.

Great property and communicative hosts. The firepit was nice for cooking dinner a couple nights. The master bed was very comfortable and the foosball table was a fun family activity. We would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Kids loved it; it was so helpful to have an extra cot in the bunk bed room so they could all stay in there together. The interior decor was lovely. Location was great- central to all our activities.

Great place for family getaway. My family loved the house and the neighborhood. Deers were visiting the property everyday. Few small issues that were take care of by the host right away. Realy appreciated great communication.

Little gem surrounded by nature

My bf and I booked a weekend trip to visit the Luray caverns and area. We LOVED our stay at this cozy cabin. It was surrounded by beautiful nature and had so many amenities inside. Loved that they have a ton of board games, darts, foosball, TVs etc. The hosts, Kyle and Sherae were very responsive and the check in and check out processes were super easy. Would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful Stay

The house is great! We loved our stay. The place is even better than the listing. Know that you’re not particularly close to any restaurants or stores but that wasn’t an issue for us. You’re close to the park entrance. The lot is peaceful and an amazing place to unwind after a long day of hiking.

Cozy clean cabin

The cabin was very clean and everything was well organized. In the guest room, there are lots of different kinds of toys, which kept our 3 year old busy. The hosts responded promptly to all our queries, before and during our stay, which we appreciated.

Very nice property

This is a great location. We really enjoyed our stay. It was a short drive to lots of activities but far enough away from town to be quiet. Great place for a family. The host was quick to respond and was very pleasant.
