Cozy 4bedroom 2 bathroom house located on the outskirts of beautiful Walden Colorado. Moose, Deer & Fox have been known to be visitors in the Spring & Summer months. The majestic view of the Never Summer Mountain Rage is right out the front door. One of the best views to catch a North Park Sunrise. Just minutes away from all the lakes, hiking trails, best fishing , snowmachine trails, State Parks, Sand Dunes and so much more.
Short walk to the center of Walden where the famous Stockman Bar as well as other local restaurants, convenient stores, hotels, fly shop, liquor stores are located.

We went fishing for a few days at Lake John. The house was perfect for our group. Clean and plenty of space for all of us.

Great spot for our group of birders to stay the night before going to see the Coalmont Greater Sage Grouse lek. Loved how many beds there were.

They allowed my cat which is surprisingly hard to find compared to dogs so I really appreciated that. However, the house didn't feel very secure. There is only a thumb turn to lock the back door. The front door doesn't latch fully and they have put a bed in front of the door. Most of the windows have plastic over them on the inside or if they don't, they are very difficult to close and lock. The backyard is an RV park. The towels all smelled sour. Several of the bedrooms don't have doors. The fridge was on the coldest setting and froze all of the food I brought. I found what appeared to be a suppository in my bed, but in fairness, my cat could have found it somewhere else in the house and brought it there.

This house is a bout as "Walden" as it gets. Cool ol' house with a lot of charm. It makes you feel like you live there. Good working Kitchen, clean rooms, & 2 Showers for larger groups. We would stay here again.

We’ve rented three houses in Walden over the last three hunting seasons, and this was by far the best. Great kitchen, great communication from the owners, great location, an all around great stay. We liked it so much, that we reserved it for next hunting season already.

Great location, beautiful views. Jenny is great! Everything you need to cook. We very much enjoyed the wood stove. House works great for our hunting group! We will see you next year!
