We loved staying here! The size was perfect for the two of us and the setting and scenery was spectacular! TV worked great which was important for us to be able to watch March Madness basketball. GO BLUE! We loved all the outdoor metal flowers/animals and always seemed to spot something we hadn’t seen before. The location is centrally located and close to many amazing trails for hiking, restaurants and shopping. Katharine was a great host and always let us know when she would be stopping home. We ran out of time to go on the boat but we will definitely be back and take her up on the offer. Highly recommend staying here if you want something unique and memorable!

Katherine was very helpful and welcoming. The casita was easy to find and had everything we needed. The view was amazing, especially at night - which you’re not going to experience staying at the local hotels.

The location was as described. Easy to find and had a carport to keep the car in the shade. The pool is absolutely amazing. We had great communication with our host and will definitely stay again.

perfect for 1st time in arizone

we found the ultimate place for exploring the area. we were able to walk to carefree, and base camp for a couple road trips to Sedona , old Scottsdale and Goldfield ghost town (all worth the drive). Lots of good restaurants in Cave creek. Try Tonto's at the golf course.

Quick weekend getaway!

Beautiful desert setting

We had a great time in the eclectic, comfortable casita. Our host made sure that we had everything we needed. The sunset cruise was fantastic!

Best Little Casita

I cannot say enough good things about this place and Katherine as a host! You can tell that she puts a lot of thought and effort into making this place feel so welcoming and making guests feel at home. I stayed here while I was on a trip for work and it really felt like a nice little escape. The casita is very private and has all the basic amenities you could want! Not to mention the pool and hot-tub are lovely and very well maintained. Thank you Katherine for being such a kind and welcoming host!!

Beautiful and eclectic property

The property is amazing with fantastic views. The pool and hot tub are outstanding. The Casita is very nice and has everything you need. Katherine is very accommodating as a host and provided all sorts of nice touches like a bottle of wine in the fridge along with other beverages. I would definitely stay there again.

Awesome place, great character

Really cool house built into rocks. Very peaceful. Katherine is so nice, took us out on private charter yacht on lake pleasant. Highly recommended

Super friendly…great experience

We stayed in the casita the week we dropped off our son at ASU. We absolutely love the Carefree and Cave Creek area and this was right in the heart on Black Mountain. The views are awesome and the pool was as well! Catherine is very friendly and accommodating!!

Long weekend getaway

Was impressed with the setup the moment I stepped on the property. The pool setup is amazing and the multilevel options provide even better views than exist at pool level. Perfect spot for one person or a couple. Walking distance to all things Cave Creek - particularly taking the back way to Buffalo Chip!

Nice location

The location is great and the casita is very private and well appointed. The patio area was very private and relaxing. However the pool/hot tub being private is a little misleading since it is right outside the hosts home, which for us was a little awkward. WiFi was great in the living room but weak most other places which for work was a little frustrating. The door lock was unpredictable but luckily the neighborhood is safe so we left the patio slider unlocked so we could get in.

Wow! I am a little shocked about your review. The pool and hot t7b are up at the main house, but I was not at the house your entire stay as I go to the lake when I have guests in the casita. This is for the readon of giving access to entire property with complete privacy. I also gave you a free sunset cruise and wine and a cheese tray because you thought it was free. Additionally, the office is in the den of the casita which is only 800 square feet. Where were you trying to use internet?
